Personally I'm hoping in the way that Himawarico is the company Himawari founds and has apparently gone back in time to help bootstrap this universe, that Shiawase Group is the same thing Shiori has done herself after being convinced to help.

I can understand why people would not be that interested in the update to be honest. Mostly if they find Ayane to be a fairly mid character in the cast list. I'm not very interested in her character myself, but attest I think Himiwari is interesting so still had her and her interactions with Akira and Ayane to keep me invested in the update. But if you really don't care about either of them and your favorite characters are ones that keep getting edged along to nowhere I can see you being pretty board by the Ayane show. (Rip to everyone like that I guess because it seems like she is Sells favorite character.)
And personally I don't really think the "Lore" drops were that huge. I guess they are in Lil where everything is always obfuscated in layers of stuff that never matters. Shiori showing up was the one bit I was most excited for out of all of it. As well as some more Ami stuff. The Maya stuff being dropped was at least nice to be put out in the open now. But I'm not sure how much it changes really, most people seemed to already have similar theories/Ideas about it. (I still kind of hate how on the nose doing the old "Her name is Maya which translates to "illusion" or "divine power turning idea into reality" in (Sanskrit?) bit is. But I guess he gets a free pass because he did it before that terrible sci-fi movie that came out a few years ago did it. "The Creator" I think it was called?)

But just from what you're saying, usual errors come from you trying to load a save that has stuff you don't have - the common culprit is the user not having the guide mod, and trying to use a save that has it.

The error will probably be you missing the guide mod like moonflare said, the source trusting thing is a important security concern cause you can write viruses in renpy saves. Don't download them from people without a reputation to lose.

Damn, I recognize none of their costumes... well, that's not a new thing, in every halloween (or costume) update I mostly never recognize them.
Maybe it's because I never watch/read/acknowledge japaneses work...
I mean, the only «japanese» thing I know is pokemon (?), with the fat yellow rats (or whatever that thing was), because my nephew show me a picture of that thing one day, while shooting the name of the series in my ears.He's an orphan right now, so at least, there's a justice.
Anywho, the only costume I do recognize is the «little red riding hood» (hopefully the translation is good, and I hope I recognize it well), worn by Kirin.

There are some really interesting ideas here and your explanation of "bootstraps" makes a lot more sense than anything I could come up with. But the way I understand Himawari's explanations in this update, her "time travel" abilities aren't really time travel at all.

When she said "how much I miss you" she was responding to Sensei. It's likely she meant him specifically, not both of her parents.
You may have noticed this in a screenshot I shared above: narrator Himawari said that she still spends time with her mom in her own world, but her dad is no longer around (whether or not that's because he's dead isn't confirmed).

I think that just add more confusion to what i was thinking to what's gonna happen when Akira and Ayane finally get out of the loop/world, like they are going to reunite together in wich way or what, cause they still have to make her born, and when they do, they are going to be together but also with baby Himawari? Or what.
Maybe this was already implied or obvious and i'm too stupid to understand lol.
