I could speculate, obviously, but I don't think that's what you want. I'll just say something that I haven't seen anyone talk about, which is that Himawari states that "the real world" is most likely a realm that none of them have or will ever see, because if they so much as glanced at it, they'd go blind.

To me, that's a nod to the fact that LiL is fiction, and we're the actual "real world". You could explain wishes that way I guess. Though I do think of a few others.

I actually like this idea. In fact, I feel like we kinda have been to somewhere that feels a little like that?

But my main reason isn't actually that. I like this idea because it would be one of the very few possible implications that isn't going to be some massive cringe. The plain that these bitch gods reside? Pfff. The original source world where nothing is made from wish? Nahhh. What value does that even bring if it was really like that? Keeping it vague with no real revelation that impacts the story sounds about just right.

We're the real world. Akira prime is from a created work within the real world.

And the game is set in a fanfic of that created work that Akira Prime has now been isekai'ed into.

I finished playing patch 0.32, and I think that's officially my favorite update of the entire game.


And I'm genuinely surprised, Ayane climbed quite a bit in my ranking in this last update, like, really quite a lot lol, I think this was the biggest rank increase a character has ever had on my list.

Big shoutout to the guy that created the updated jukebox mod, if you are reading this, i just wanna let you know that i am really gratefull. Without your work, i wouln't have remembered so many fond memories that this game gave me in these last years. There was a time that i was so depressed that the only day of the month that provided a bit of joy was when this game got updated, and the amazing ost made me connect with the game even more, so now that i am listening to the full jukebox i managed to remember how happy this game made me back then. Thanks a lot.
