(respecting the spoiler although I'm not sure why it's there - maybe to avoid a wall of text?)

I truly don't know why people get on his case about this. If you are just starting out as a musician, you might play for free on a street corner or for very low pay at some dive, or give out free CDs (dating myself there), but once you get successful, you're not going back to that - you want to (and should) get paid. Nothing wrong with giving out free samples to get noticed, but also nothing wrong with moving on once you've made it.
The spoiler was indeed intended to avoid a text wall.

I don't think most people here would have cared if he just quietly stopped interacting on the site. But he got hostile, and that started the back and forth. It's like a successful musician coming back to the corner where they started and heckling the people there.

And with how much both sides harp on each other, I don't think anyone has moved on lol.

It's more like the musician coming back to the street corner and yelling at someone who runs by with a shoplifted copy of his CD.

He has an abrasive personality for sure, but getting mad over people stealing something that they could have for free in two weeks anyways is something I sympathize with.

I'm not going to continue the analogy, but this site is known for pirating h-games and he decided to use it as a platform to start off despite that. I can't really sympathize with someone who dug their selves down a hole.
Oh, definitely you shouldn't expect more from a pirate site, but there aren't a lot of other options for this kind of product. What would be useful to developers would be a site where you could get, for free, the first three chapters/releases/whatever of the game, to try it out, see if you like it, and then if you wanted more you could go to Patreon or SS and support them, but you couldn't get the whole 15-20 chapters for free, which is what you get here, and why it makes people like Selebus (legitimately, IMO) mad or frustrated. But the existence of F95 means that would never happen (why get only three chapters for free when you can get the whole damn game here).

And I am 100% sure that most, maybe all, of the people who claim that F95 is great for developers because it makes people aware of their games would never stop pirating games here and instead go to a "get the first three chapters free" site, because they don't actually care about something that would help the developer - they just want the game for free (which, again, they could do legitimately for LiL if they simply waited two weeks).

Do Main Story Events change depending on the affection with girls? For example in the 'This Town Has Two Halves' Event, do you always end forcing Yumi to kiss you or is there another possible scene?

Nope, forced kissing is the only outcome - - one of the “fake” choices this game offers.

However, some event directions and/or becoming available do depend on girl stats (IIRC only Lust level matters not Love level, but I can be wrong)

I have hahaha, I played long ago and I wanted to wait till the game had much more scenes to play it again
Keep playing. Originally I thought like you did but now I see that was missing the point of the experience and I am horrified excited to see what is in store for us.

if LiL gets removed from here, i'd love to see the subscribestar change over the course of 6-12 months.

I gotta imagine that this site drives growth on subscribestar, for LiL. I know there are other ways to find adult games, but i don't think any of them hold a candle to f95zone. i certainly would have never found it without f95zone, and he's made some money of me before he started going massive edge-lord.
Genuine question, how do most adult games advertise or grow? Are there other large platforms like F95 out there that drives as much engagement? I guess the best would be for a game to get approved on Steam. But other than small word of mouth on places like 4chan, it seems like it would be really hard to grow a game as ... advertiser unfriendly, as this game without places like F95.

There is a couple subreddits, r/lewdgames and some other such place. And Steam does have adult games, although i gotta imagine that LiL would never be allowed.

I honestly don't know of any other way to grow this type of thing.

Also FWIW i think an update was supposed to happen on the 1st, so maybe F95 didn't immediately pirate. Or maybe the update is late, i don't care enough to go back into that discord and find out, when it shows up it shows up.

I would assume any game using Honey Select or Koikatu assets would not be sellable on Steam, since Illusion has made it clear that they don't sell commercial licenses to those games.

Itch.io doesn't care about that, since they operate on a "donation" system, but I don't know what kind of community building or review system that site offers, if any.

And the update was moved to the 3rd because someone forgot about Thanksgiving.
