As mentioned, I think Nodoka IS a good character, in the sense that her motivations aren't just one-dimensional as they may appear. But she's not a good person, though I don't think she's evil for the sake of it. I mean, either she was already broken before, or the cycles broke her, but she came off to me as someone with an "end justifies the means" mindset, who cherishes Futaba, who legitimately didn't see anything wrong with publishing the book about them because it couldn't be conclusively proven it was about them, who will torture Yumi in a bid to see what makes her tick (and when Sensei is there, to test him too), who will try ANYTHING to see how the loop they found themselves in works, including getting all kinds of reactions from her classmates to see exactly what's the limits they are allowed to reach.
I do think, however, that she HAS been hard reset before, but it's not a certainty, mostly because of the bit that she tortured Yumi in one of the other timelines, which, if you take her being practical to its extreme, would serve no logical purpose unless she hasn't done so before.

Nodoka is a sociopath and the one character in the game I truly hate (Otoha is just blah, and I really don't like Maya, but I don't hate her). I don't think she is hot, either in her crazy or sane form, and I regret almost every moment she is on the screen.

I think I would have agreed early on but watching her love for Sensei crack over time was so fucking cute.
The rooftop after visiting Niki was so heartwarming to me.

This is actually a huge pain point for me because I can't stand the majority of the higher rated games on the Latest Updates page. Somehow they'll have 4.5/5 and the dialogue is just awful.

I guess some people are here just to tug one out to default animations. I need to be wined and dined, now, apparently. Can't get off until I'm quizzed about the 12 different ways to brew coffee, and these games can hardly spell, use proper punctuation, or god forbid, have characters speak like an actual person might.

The review system leaves a lot to be desired. The mods try to enforce some standards but nothing seems to stop the dunces that write a two sentence review that tells you nothing, praises everything and slaps a 5/5 on a 0.1 release, sycophants just trying to boost their latest fap material 99% of the time. I pretty much never do more than skim a review unless it's a few paragraphs and most of the time i i'll only do more than skim if the review is a 3/5 cause at least you know then that the reviewer has put some thought into it.

LiL kinda spoils you a lot with pretty much no egregious mistakes, almost no typos, and even the "filler" content being good enough, but I have read chinese web novels, I can and will enjoy stuff even if it's on a "get a feeling so complicated" level. You understimate the amount of media with bad translations but enough redeeming qualities to look past the poetry. That said, tbh, I've only managed to find three of the LiL lookalikes interesting enough to invest more than an hour in them.

Is it a progress mod (I'm using it) thing or it's an Old RenPy engine thing (I'm using New RenPy version)?
If I'm deleting the progress mod folder, game is crashing in main menu.

I never understood the people that just want to play games for straight default renpy animation sex.

I get off so much by the scenarios and setups and the buildup that it almost ruins normal porn.

Good writing is very important, make sure to get yourself a secret writer/editor that corrects all mistakes if you're gonna make a game.

There's not necessarily anything wrong with your game, it's just that the save file itself might be too old or a few other things.

In your case, the only reason why the save file I sent cannot work for you is if you haven't unlocked the newest happy event yet. You need to get to the end of the latest version.

Couldn't agree more, I've totally dropped games due to the writing recently, so many of them are just fucking awful.

There's not necessarily anything wrong with your game, it's just that the save file itself might be too old or a few other things.

In your case, the only reason why the save file I sent cannot work for you is if you haven't unlocked the newest happy event yet. You need to get to the end of the latest version.

It's unlocked and should be available, I fully finished the reset and got the message that Alexis is unlocked, so that's not the case.

Do you remember the mall event? well now there's a new happy event unlocked for that and you need to backtrack to get it, that's why people are asking for old save files (but most of them don't work)
