I would've thought Sel learned from the Dorm Wars, to stop putting music with vocals IN A VISUAL NOVEl!
Games in Japan put Japanese music, I think maybe it's preference or unused to music? I struggled the first time but, now it is easy for me

Well fuck me sideways, I knew some plot was going to happen this update but I wasn't expecting to actually learn so much about the world and get actual answers to stuff I've seen people talking and theorising about for years of pages.
Akira might actually have some drive now too - although, conversely, it's going to feel really weird bouncing off this update and having him go back to seducing the rest of the cast lol

It's the same issue I had with the Good Kid songs. The music choice is good, but it's difficult to read the text on screen, when you have somebody singing in your ear.

Well, that's just a thing that happens in VNs. Muramasa routes finals, as an example. You simply have to not listen to the lyrics.

I hesitate to say "return to form," since Sel's form has been pretty sub-par for some time now, but this update was definitely a huge jump in quality in terms of writing, characterization, and especially plot progression. Looking forward to see if Akira's going to be more driven in future updates and events. Not going to hold my breath, but feeling much less discouraged now about the story as a whole.

i suppose they are possible options, but i lean significantly more towards it being sekai purely because she's the only one we ever see actually interact with ami as far as i remember, and ami seems to be fairly well aware of her protected status so it stands to reason she's acquainted with the god offering her it
