I just started a reply and there's some random things early on with Maya that make a lot more sense after stuff revealed in 0.53 and 0.54 so it's certainly possible he hid some stuff early on.

I'm actually pretty impressed, I kinda assumed he was making things up as he went but it looks like he actually planned the story out to a certain extent pretty early on.

What are the random things that make more sense?

if you want to see invite generics you'll have to exit autovn mode iirc, invite character/main events should trigger automatically

Story invites over happens automatically, but it doesn't show invite sex scenes.
