I just pronounce it "You-Tuh.". Then again, I also thought Io's name was Lo at one point, so I don't have the best track record when it comes to names in this game.

It's "Oo-Ta" or "Oo-Da"; thinking with Spanish when attempting hers; or the "ooo I see", that ooo.
Since everyone but Molly is Japanese, pronouncing their names should follow Japanese language standards. NOTE: NOT a native Japanese speaker, only know enough to be dangerous if I were instructing kindergartners lol.
Vowels are the key to each sound in Japanese, and learning what the vowels sound like should be a big assist to guide your pronunciation. Consonants (with the exception of "n" which can be a stand-alone sound in Japanese) are used with a vowel. Plus there are a few English/Roman letters not used in Japanese (like "L", though "R" sounds like a slightly rolled combination of both L and R).
a= ah

u= oo
So Io would be "ee-oh", Uta would be "oo-tah", Rin would be "leen/reen", Ami would be "ah-mee", Ayane would be "ah-yah-neh", etc.
Japanese also does not have emphasized/strong syllables in their multiple syllable words so each sound/syllable should be sounded with similar inflection throughout the word (i.e. Ayane would be "ah-yah-ne" and not "ah-YAH-ne" or "ah-yah-NE").

Why people care so much about their actual name pronunciation? Just use the one you used in your mind and be happy. Even if you call Io as Lo xD
Hmmm, so if Uta is sweet, does that make them Sweet and Lo?

This is an interesting thing by the way, because in Russian we pronounce You-ta.
And we have a whole dispute all the time about the sounds of Japanese, since there is a Polivanov system. But we also often use transcription of English sounds into Japanese words.
By the way, unhappy Molly, no one can pronounce her name properly. Morry will turn out, haha

i didnt mean endgame in an esoteric sense. i just meant literally the end portion of the content currently available (many hours away from the beginning. where you would have to return to if you screwed up a choice in most games)

Or you could just follow forum etiquette and use the features specifically added to the forum software so people don't have to multipost and annoy others. It's neither irrational nor silly to be bothered by some random dude spamming his single setnence thoughts out over 4 posts. Is it simply too difficult for you to put just a tiny bit of effort into presenting your thoughts in a neat and compact manner?

the fact is, I started by replying to 2 posts that were seperated quite a bit in my Alerts list. i got up from the computer and ate some food. when i came back i responded to a post i read during my normal reading. after i posted it the page updated and i saw a new post i also wanted to respond to.
so i should have gone back and edited the previous post to combine them? or is there some fundamental amount of time im supposed to wait between posts to not trigger you? your request is neither in the rules nor even rational, and appears to be fundamentally flawed because in reality you would have been perfectly fine if the page looked like this:

You apparently have no experience with using a, or at least this, forum. Mechanical wise.

I personally wouldn't bite you a finger off for it but if you want to be understood and not scrolled over, you'd better for that sake, get used to how to post here.

God this wait is painful, and the next one is going to be even longer. I wish there was a way to hibernate as a human, if at any point i run out of games to play i could just go to sleep for 3 months and wake up to a stack of updates. Though i guess i'd hate to have to play catch-up on this thread... god... my reply post would make Alex looks like any common single reply poster...
