Yeah I'm pretty positive they didn't say that, and logically it can't be the way memory loss is avoided surely?
I mean, it's implied people dying is a fairly regular part of the process so if it was then people should have been keeping their memories randomly all along and it wouldn't be a mystery for the custodians as to how Ami's been managing. This last reset alone eight people (that we know of) died before the custodians got to them - not including Ami - so if you add in the RAS next update would have almost half the class (plus three outside it) suddenly cognizant of the situation if death were that piece of the puzzle.
I grew up in Wales, my friend - I'm all too aware of the dangers of farmyard lovemaking. That was like half my local paper growing up lol

Don't worry, in my headcanon, the people with stock silhouettes are still a version of themselves, and would react accordingly to mundane events like the dorm wars.

I actually got it from someone else on here. Re-reading the relevant events I think it's a matter of chinese whispers. Shiori explicitly tries to clean the memories of a dead Nodoka. I think it's some mashup of why Ami would kill herself during resets, how she's under the protection of a god, and how the RAS hasn't been getting cleaned every reset.
Honestly, I think my favorite thing about this game is getting to react to it for the first time. No matter what I think is gonna happen next, something even crazier happens. Add in the fun little mysteries going on in the background, the hints and clues and foreshadowing...I have yet to be disappointed.
Currently experiencing Nodakathon 2 and all I can say is:
Part 1: Lmao
Part 2: Wow. Also, Ami's outfit is a choice. A good choice. I know she's a time traveling murderous psychopath, but her hair and the pink are a fire fit.
Part 3: Oh fuck. Wow. Haven't finished this part yet, but I just got to the reveal and I am flabbergasted.

This is probably the nicest thing someone has said about Nodokathon 2, at least in this thread.
This doesn't surprise me at all. I can kinda see what Nodaka was going for here, so from a characterization stand point, it meshes with who they are, especially when you realize they are kinda sorta crazy...but also crazy like a fox.
From an IRL perspective, it was a den of debauchery that absolutely could and should ruin the lives of most of the people involved.
Thankfully it's just a game! (IYKYK)

Personally, I'm leaning towards all the killing being akin to sacrificing to a god for benefits. Including committing suicide, in at least Ami's case (maybe Makoto's):

Or not. Having sex behind the scenes is pretty much the standard for Maya for the entire chapter. Maybe Selebus is holding out for Maya Prime to have the first lust scene (other than the two weird replays) because at this point it's just off.
Granted, she hasn't had sex in her events yet, but it wouldn't surprise me for him to just skip it anyway.

Yeah, I wouldn’t jump to any conclusions. I don’t think any character in this game has ever had their first sex scene under a pink/lust event, have they? And if they have, it certainly isn’t the norm. Nodoka, Noriko, Kirin, Ami, Ayane, Makoto, etc. are all examples of this.
