A warning and a meme
Don't watch Haruka's photo message through the menu. Since this is something new for Sel, it has a bug in it if you watch it outside of the story actually making you read the message seamlessly. You just continue the update with the menu at the bottom of the screen missing like it's a submenu, and if you press escape you then snap back to wherever you were beforehand. Might screw up some progression you didn't mean to make.
edit: ok specifically, it bugs out if you go and view Haruka's phone message, while still in Haruka's phone message which is normally impossible. Once you're past the I NEED COCK line it should work properly.

My thoughts about the update:
Overall, I think it was a good update. It was a good follow-up to the best update in the game, in the sense that things have changed, and the lore drops continue. It's basically like we're in another stage for LiL, as it should be.
There was a lot of lore that was dropped in the update as well, and I didn't cover most of it here. Figured I'd tackle a bit of the character stuff this time. Also, I think Selebus lost his touch a bit on some of the narration. Too much rambling - not to an extent that it became boring, but I struggled not to jump a few lines. And tbh I just give up on reading anything written in cursive.
Anyway, nice update. I think the major flaw was not including more of the Sara variables, but the fact that it highlighted that we're on a new era for the game is a huge win (along with everything Maya related).

Oh, also, for whatever reason, that snippet about setting giveup to true actually created that variable and set it to true... pretty sure it's an unmissable scene though so... commitment to the joke i guess?

There's also one like that in the chapter 4 molly event where you meet her for a date and she's in a red dress. Also the somewhat recent Karin event where the narration breaks down and it's all text floating on the screen. Karin's one feels like it's going to control a happy event, I would have said Yasu's was a joke but the way they're aiming her this update she might have her own one too. A weird event that might deprogram her a bit, leading to a scene where her fanfest music plays while she exposits some major truths would be very cool.

Oh, I am mildly annoyed at Futaba's "arc" now though. I kind of figured she'd just randomly forgive Nodoka at some point without any real resolution but it's still annoying.
And I'm not even sure with this shit about her parents. I mean, it was never really dwelt on very hard at all even by Futaba so the whole thing was pointless. Part of me is wondering if Sel was starting something there and decided to just drop it lol

What I found most "funny" about Haruka's situation was that she actually thought she could end up with completely random girls. Like, even Akira takes forever to finally have a sex scene with the girls—he hasn't even been with all of them yet, even though more than five school years have passed within the game—and Haruka thinking she could achieve that with Chika was ridiculous, lol.
