Since it's new year's eve (at least on my side of the globe), I decided to «change» my PP¹!
Yay!
Always the same thing, a Belgian flag, BUT! with a twist, because there's a naked Yumi in the beer. I've preferred Makoto to be honest, but with the last blender update, I wasn't able to export other characters, so... it was either Yumi or... a child.
And, strangely enough, having a naked child in my beer didn't appeal me that much!
So... for the posterity, here's the old one :

Gotta say, i do think that Akira looks kinda similar to Sel from a picture i once saw. There's also the glasses which both wear.
So people thinking Akira is a selfinsert, roots from at least that too.

Sel is doing something weird with the dorms right now. He's made it possible to still be soaplocked as of 0.54, and he hasn't made any mandatory individual dorm room events since the start of chapter 4 which would prove it's an oversight (The only mandatory dorm event with Maya and Nao-chan triggers as soon as you press the dorms button, bypassing the soaplock and hinting that it's completely intentional).shrine maiden maya.

Whether it's Sel enjoying that some people have been stuck outside of the dorms for two going onto three years, a miraculous oversight, or whether it's some secret true path is still to be decided.
The only lust grinding he added to the dorms since ch4 is Molly blowjobs, and he made it just possible to get enough for her christmas events if you had the shampoo and removed it in the waiting room reset puzzle (Which means first ch4 cycle soaplock can still be green path, as long as you 40 Ayane lust before ch4 started, futaba's requirement was taken care of if you saw Toys)

During my first playthrough I followed the very dire warnings in the puzzle guide to NOT pick up the shampoo a second time (I think) to avoid locking the game.
Does this bizarre little detail feel like an oversight, some secret long game, or what? And what exactly are the mechanics behind how it works as of today?

If you have the shampoo and visit the dorms in paper city twice, you're booted to the main menu. If you have it during chapter 4 and visit the dorms you're stopped by the shampoo and waste the night, this does not get rid of the shampoo so you can't get dorm room events / happy events with the shampoo. Besides that, it hasn't really mattered. During the first ch4 beach trip there are two shampoo checks that slightly different dialogue, and that's it so far.

During the waiting room reset puzzle, the maya 2 door will get rid of the shampoo and reset the door so you can visit it again to get the profile outfit, but you don't need to visit the door to leave the puzzle. So far all you're forced to lose is the 3 christmas futaba molly and tsubasa lewd events, there hasn't been a way to miss the red room happy event yet.
Tsukasa is in a more obvious bugged state if you're trying weird shit with her. You're not forced to see Failsafe before the christmas chain starts so you can miss out on the tsukasacurious scene, then call her and take it.
Meh, I took the shampoo and cleared the flag myself to unlock it. Eat that, Selebus.
