Oh man, I never quite finished the first, but loved it. I’ve heard the new one is great, so I’m super stoked to try it some time soon too!

I don't hate him so much as get frustrated with him. If he wouldn't be so over the top about everything he doesn't like he could still be here getting along, or at least tolerating everybody. But I'm still rooting for him to make money because that is what will keep getting the story written.

That’s exactly what Sels alt personality would say. As far as I am concerned, every account in this thread belongs to Selebus and he is just chatting with himself all day long
On a more serious note, I use this forum because it has always been community centered and doesn’t grant any special privileges to the developers. I couldn’t care less what developers do in their own bubbles since it does not concern me. Developers that aren’t on a power trip are able to use this forum to reach their memberbase/new potential investors in a neutral space and get feedback, those that don’t feel the need to or want to stick to their bubbles are unlikely to be people I would enjoy to chat with in the first place.

I have spoken so much about this topic that I'll not revisit it. I'll say this though:
For you to have a real chance at discussing a game (or whatever else) you need to be able to speak your mind about it without fear of being banned for it. That I know, this place only exists here with our community. We have both supporters and non-supporters of the game here, people that like and dislike puzzles, those that play the game fine without triggers and those that are thankful for when we post them so soon after release - the list goes on.
This sense of acceptance and freedom (for how you play and what you think about LiL), that we cultivate here, is far more important than whatever praise or criticism to Selebus we may create from time to time. That some lunatics try to reduce our thread to a hatred forum, as it has reached us in the past, is as ludicrous as following blindly after a dude so obssessed about how people should play his game, that he'd alienate them to the point of losing money for it.

A lot of his problems can be inferred from the fact that I would be scared to give him money.

All my FU Sel's are mostly just to be funny and to let out frustrations for things that don't go the way I want or that I just don't understand. Which is a good deal of this story lately. I don't truly hate him but I know he doesn't want a lazy dummy like me reading his story so that is very frustrating. Even with that, I still feel that this is worth my 60$ a year so I will keep paying for it until that changes or he cancels me. As far as this place, I prefer it so much more than discord. Aside from having to be extremally careful there, I find discord in general too chaotic. This format is perfect for me.

Patches only go to the next update you have to find all of them between 44 and 47.
And you have to do them in order or risk explosions
