Yep that's why I'm sticking with the stomachache skip route personally on my main save. I wanna give her this moment of feeling safe, and will hold out hope we can make it last. Even though I know I may end up regretting it since so many forces (including Akira himself) seem hell-bent on making sure that no happy ending will happen at this point.

At this point in the discussions people ended up saying the pattern that's held up through the game, that sometimes you need to break something to make it stronger again. I even compared the red path dialogue to a happy event or something, reading out of character for the game.
Once you make it to her next events I can give you a bigger example. Right now it's just "see how much her green path dialogue vibes with the rest of the game."

Honestly no cause when I first came here it was on fire. (most of the people who got filtered by the extreme content were still around).
She definitely won't be dom at first, but I think when she realises how weak Akira is she'll start poking him a bit more, maybe transitioning into a dom role after a short amount of time.
Either way I'm all for it, love dom girls.
I'm gonna be honest this sort of shit is so fucking annoying, IDK why Sel has such a hate boner for people looking to cut through the game but it's pathetic.

Who cares, point em to a guide and be done with it, it's way easier than doing whatever the fuck he's done here just to snipe people.
Not to mention this will catch people who are using a guide for subsequent playthroughs, something there's actually a decent reason to do with this game, seeing how things change over time depending on your choices.
(Stomache, bad homie, bad uncle, nude sharing, watching Abyss before the onsen, so on so forth).
I just don't get it, so much policing to enforce an "intended" experience, just let people enjoy your game you fucking cretin.
Honestly this is really dissapointing to me, almost like it's rewarding you for being reprehensible at every possible chance.
Personally I think it'd be nicer if the game wasn't completely hellbent on making excuses for doing bad things and actually smacked you for it from time to time.
I think the worst thing that can happen is shutting Rin off for ages by being a bad homie, which is comparably a drop in the bucket.
But no, it's a good thing you took advantage of a girls PTSD trip and she loves you so so much and it was eye opening experience for her in some way.
Idk man, think it'd be better if she lost a lot of interest in Akira for this; afterall -- it was pathetic of him.

since I still can't figure out what's going on with my changes made with URM are being undone, I'm currently convinced that he's implemented a check to see if certain values are altered in some way and undoes it. That feels somewhat unlikely but I wouldn't put it past him.
also am I crazy or is the game taking way longer to launch after each update? I'm now questioning if that is also on purpose just to fuck with people

Doubt it, I figure someone would have noticed by now if that were the case. Might just be something wrong with permissions or the install.
Also yes, the game will take longer to launch with every update because it just keeps getting even more massive (12+ GB already and will keep increasing) and Renpy seems to struggle to load everything at once.
The last part of what you said is my worry. Wait until their events in 0.47 and compare both dialogue choices. If you compare red vs. green, it's like seeing someone confronting reality or accepting to live in a delusion that will one day crumble. In both she knows he's broken, but in one she knows who he really is (see also the next quote), and in the other it's like she built a fantasy that she's the one he won't rape. They feel like they end at the same point, but it's only an illusion.
It's not that she loves you. As you said, he's pathetic, which is why she's kinda latching to him, since all the sex she knows is exploitative and hurtful, him being pathetic is a new experience related to sex that she hasn't known. A bit like Stockholm, maybe?

Yeah I remember when I originally found the game middle of 2023, first VN and all that, the second I realized what I did on my first run I deleted that save, but I've kept the same one ever since I redid the run.
I'm kinda curious about doing a playthrough where you avoid as much content as you can.. like get all the red events. I'm curious about how much unique dialogue there is for that if any.

Basically the run where you try to be a good person but you're not allowed.
There's a decent chunk of diff dialogue, especially with Ami, in which many events are pretty heavily changed.

The famous "red path". I think it would end up being a pain in the ass because you will have to think how to intentionally miss them xd

Most of it isn't worth a run. Most red path dialogue is little quips or just entire scenes missing. The funniest one you can get imo is missing the halloween Maki and Haruka cat sex scene, where you actually fix their pipes.
It's basically not fingering Ami and Io's red path text where you get entirely different scenes, and strange amounts of effort put into content you're not supposed to see. Io's kind of understandable due to the crowd reaction, but there's so much effort put into not fucking Ami when you're supposed to fuck Ami, almost like in some way you're not meant to.
Finally done with 0.45 and the first reset of chapter 4. I'm gonna reread everything with the context of the rest of the game but I've basically completed a playthrough now.

It doesnt matter overall anyway cause one of the events forces you to regardless, although you don't see it.
