It means there is more than one girl and that choosing one doesn't lock out the other.
that is obviously not what the dev said he said it only contains elements of a harem game thats is exactly why i'm asking.

Is it a fuck around but commit to a single Li later? is it you can end with a trouple but not all Lis? what does Harem elements mean. Having multiple girls loving MC is also an Harem element doesnt mean they end up together. Maybe MC is gay and all the girls want to convince him otherwise that would meet the criteria for harem elements still not a game i would want to play.

You can be with all of them, some of them, a single one , or neither. It was a little hard to figure out how to write it out, cuz it's not inherently locked to being in a harem so it's not really solely a harem game.

Alright, time for some wall of text first impressions.
Main menu was silent, not sure if intended, felt quite strange. All other sounds seem to work fine. Speaking of which. Sounds were quite nice bringing the monsters to life and all. But the music I felt like did not fit the setting much. The upbeat music on the ship's bridge has more action-heist-flick vibes rather than cyberpunk-kaiju-disaster with the MC just having committed his first murders. At least for me.

The sketch arts were an awesome idea to include. It is not commonly seen and quite fitting to the setting I thought. Especially as an intro. Their style helps reinforce the mood and setting of half the world being crushed by monsters. Almost got me writing "Yay, not the standard knock-off intro shit". Almost. Was kinda sad to have the dev-stand-in exposition right after. Not gonna lie, that was placed badly. Just thrown in before the first choice. Either have that at the very start or even better, not at all. A few thoughts of MC like "Should I be horny or not, what are the consequences" are not ripping the reader right out of the situation as much. Just my opinion of course.

The release was very short. I know that is probably so you can react to feedback, but it makes it more difficult to find things for feedback at all. For example, we have seen very few characters that are likely to reappear so far.
Speaking of character design. I liked Strea's design. MC is a bit standard, but not too much. Quite ok I thought.
I sure do hope we get to see something like the banner in the OP at some point, that style does look quite nice :BootyTime:
And the characters in there, too.

We didn't get to see that much in terms of environments yet. The ones at sea were simple but good enough, but onshore we could get to see a bit more. Maybe some more sketch art of the streets and the city and so forth, build the world a bit more.
Can't say much about the main story, since the release mostly focuses on how MC and the (presumed to be) first LI come together on the open sea. Not many other connections or ambitions have been talked about yet.

The different paths for morals had quite distinct personalities for MC shining through in the dialogue. Ambitious for later releases for sure, but also interesting, if you want to put your focus on those different paths.

Quite a bunch of typos for the shortness of the release.

Not gonna lie, when you openly stated your inspirations in the OP I first thought (Oh lawd, another one inspired by that particular one... :KEK:)
Was very happy about being wrong here. Can't say that I have read many VN heavily focused on a setting like Pacific Rim. This could be a very engaging idea and I'm sure excited to see what the actual main plot will be about.
The alien kaiju invasion meeting a more cyberpunk-esque society has me intrigued, could be a really good combination for a compelling world to dive into.

And of course, thank you for the release, Mr. Ovis. Good luck with your project, I'm excited to see what you make out of this setting!
Cheers =)

Just wanted to say: nice job on the intro. Usually I get impatient with these things and click-click-click through them, but this one held my attention, and even made a bit of sense as a set up for the story. The art reflected the mood nicely as well.

Can't comment much beyond that since that's about how far I got, but I thought I'd comment on that much.

so, if I understood this correctly, we can end the game with ALL the lis ? or I missed something? sorry my english is not very helpfull I fear.

You can end the game with all of them in a harem in any permutation of stats that you choose, but the actual path to getting to that harem ending would look different. So for example, a girl may require you to be leaning heavily into kindness to be with her at the first opportunity, but you can add her to the harem later as a cold MC, it'll just change what that relationship looks like.

I definitely appreciate the review, a big reason I pushed the game out as fast as I did (it's been about a 1.5 months making it thus far) was so that I could get feedback from audience about each of the different aspects of the game.

As for your different points:
- Sounds and music is definitely a sticking point for me, it's not something I'm particularly good with so learning how to arrange it all is going to be a learning process.
- Dev intro was something I considered not including at all, was made more on the idea that the stat system was pretty complex and I didn't want to drop players in without any kind of direction on that at all, there is definitely a more elegant solution for it somewhere, it's more just something to figure out with later updates.
- I'm glad from the feedback I've gotten thus far that the MC reception is generally that the design is neither too strong nor too bland, hitting a middle ground is pretty much what I'm looking for, since a big concept is that the MC is growing and changing over the course of the game dependent upon the player's choices. I'm also glad that Strea's getting some love, the other girls up on the banner shall definitely be appearing shortly and frankly a big thing to work out with early game is pretty much how to introduce a lot of characters very quickly without it feeling tremendously heavy-handed.
- The worldbuilding is definitely an aspect that will be fleshed out, and I have a few things that will also be dropped into the prologue that will be pretty interesting too, the notebook sketches are intended to be a common reoccurring feature since they are pretty good for tying scenes together. Just because of the way that Neo Studio 2 works, it's very taxing to make establishing shots with it, so being able to draw that out is a lot simpler.

that actually sounds perfect. I am all for kindness !

a question if I may though. does the choises you make shape the mcs' character? for example if a girl requires a more direct/strict aproach but another girl , like the one you mentioned, requires kindness, would that be conflicting? or we can aproach each situation the way we need to win over each girl without suddently turning to either an arshole or a simp? I hope I made some sense.

Think of it less like choosing the right series of things to say that will win over a particular character, more like that character is attracted to the MC based on the person he's developed into and shown himself to be by the pattern of choices made. If one of the girls is attracted to the MC because he is a kind gentleman who's treated her well, one of the other girls may not be as into that and you will have to take the long way around on getting to her heart (and between her legs). There won't be any single perfect run, because each choice comes as a tradeoff, but the upside is that means there is a lot greater variation between different playthroughs.

in the harem route will there be lesbian/girl on girl stuff and if so can it be avoided?
