Have had this on watchlist but reading these post are making me lose interest in it. Seems like the brothel will become a major focus of the game in the future regardless of what dev claims.

Understandable, but so far the brothel isn't a major focus of the game, just a very odd addition when you think about it. Due to the way of acquiring cash fast being either slaying a demon or Naga at 120-130 and many may struggle earlier on and need a strong teammate to be with them till they grind up enough stats to solo one ( naga needs Potions or a teammate). Jade is the only one who offers footjobs and only one with not offer form penetrative sex. Counting her, to unlock everything from the brothel, you would need around 1600 gold. Which means beating 14 nagas/demons solo.

If it has almost all the sex scene's then that is a huge negative for a harem game, along with saving the damsel in distress only to make her a whore instead of making her a li, which you would expect from a harem game.

Not gonna defend the putting a whorehouse in the harem game or that subquest really, especially since:

Why even have the brothel in a harem game? How is it relevant to the plot? Are any more women we come across going to be sent to the whorehouse or is this just going to be a one-time thing?

Should be a one-time thing, and it seems "full" and it is useless to the overall main story plots and characters.

I don't know how much content the brothel has, or how often it's updated. You have scenes with the main LIs and some side LIs. I can't say if the brothel has more or less because I haven't played that part and I didn't want to search about the brothel.

A couple of updates ago, there was a quest where you rescued a succubus and took her to the brothel (the only time you're required to go); there hasn't been anything similar since. I don't think the game will focus on the brothel, and the quests with the LIs are progressing. I certainly didn't like this secondary quest (it's only the end of one main quest), but at least it's a one-off, and I hope it continues to be so.

On the other hand, at the beginning of the game there are two voyeur scenes that were initially mandatory to watch, but now you can skip them.

If that's the case, and the reward is a free session, and it turns out to be a footjob, this gets worse by the minute. The reasons to reject the reward and not return have increased.

There's no need to make a mountain out of the brothel. Its purpose is obviously to enable throw away sex scenes, in a porn game, with objectively reduced grind compared to the other proper scenes.
The grind, however, is a massive pain in the ass. Mouse bashing to gain a single stat point is something I dropped, because the possibility of fucking up my mouse for a +1 in an uncompleted porn game isn't something I'm willing to do. Needing to go around and flirt with each girl 10 times just to unlock their basic scenes, which then unlock a new NPC stat to grind to further see scenes ain't worth it, the fact that you can burn through the story content in under 10 days doesn't help. Quests are awful and the payout is trash.
Oh, and the need to make figurines to open characters' gallery pages is cute. But I positively hate those sliding picture puzzles, so charging $100 to skip them is a slap in the face. $100 on top of the $100 I spent on the rock to make the thing. That you're only allowed to buy one at a time apparently.

To be honest I cleared the story, got a few characters to 10+ affection, and saw that I needed to further grind desire then scene hunt, and deleted there.

She asks the MC about the brothel (a place my MC had never been to and I'm not sure how he knew how to get there because I don't think I ever asked about it) Basically, during the MC's conversation with her after rescuing her, it's implied that she has quite a bit of experience being a whore and is looking for the brothel searching to work in it. From the conversation with her, I figured the only logical option was the one the MC automatically made: take her to the brothel and forget she exists. In fact, she says she'd compensate the MC when she returned to the brothel. However, I'm not interested in that type of reward, nor will I ever set foot in the brothel again



In my opinion, the brothel is an unnecessary addition that only delays the development of the story without contributing anything worthwhile. In fact, the game would be better without it. Or at least that's what I think.

I think the succubus's name is Jade.

For now, the game has four main LIs and several side ones. I can't say how many girls there are in the brothel or how many scenes it contains. Beyond accompanying the succubus there, I didn't do anything else in the brothel, so my information about it's limited to what I've read in this thread.
