For anyone having the game crash after ~1min of play, try this fix
Do the following (for Windows 11)

1) Open Settings

2) Select System, then about

3) Click Advanced system settings

4) Click Enviromental Variables

5) Select “New…” under “System variables”

6) Input the text below and select “OK”
Variable name: OPENSSL_ia32cap
Variable value: ~0x200000200000000

7) Confirm that the variable has been added successfully, then select “OK”

8) Run the game!

This didn't work for me.

Sorry to hear that. For context I took that from a steam forum of a game that runs on the same engine and it worked for me. Here's a link to that if it helps at all.
