So, i decided to try the game out and... i can't really say i got a nice experience :T Here a couple problems i had with the game:
First, the prologue. Now, it is nice that the developer put in a way to jump the prologue, but the fact that the very game said it was about one hour just bugs me. One thing i hate in games are long prologues and cutscenes. This is a game, not a movie or a book. Story is not the most important: gameplay is. And if the gameplay is limited to "press next" for the first hour, that is a problem. Now, as i said, the game does gives you the option to jump straight into the game itself, but at the cost of not quite fully understanding the story. It gives you a nice short version, but if you want the full picture... well, it sounds like a pain, to be honest.
Then there is the game itself. Open world is nice, but give the players too much freedom and they will just get lost. Not only then, but if you explore the whole world before finding that one specific spot where a scene triggers it can make the world look empty and the game just time consuming. My suggestion would be to introduce things to the player slowlly, as they become relevant. Start with a clear main quest, with clear steps to take (maybe even with a quest log, that tells you where to go next) and then maybe one or two side quests, that lets you explore the world and know new characters. Something that doesn't make you click everywhere because you have no clue what to do or how to play.
