Hey guys, the final update just dropped, the first update was exactly 4 years ago. We've learned a lot in that time both good and bad.

The game is already fully compressed from about 45-ish GB. Current stats are like 4400 animations, 25000 images and like 2500 pages of dialogue equalling at least 9 books, on top of that like 300 audio files.

Any leftover issues that may occur will be fixed accordingly.
Overall, the game is done and the focus for the time being is the new game.

It’s been a pleasure.

i cant wait for this devs next game. i love the concept of the game but hate koikatsu. i remember one of the devs from this game saying they're most likely going to move to a diff animation studio for the next game. though i think it mostly due to koikatsu not being monetizable on platforms like steam

The 24 characters shown are the focus at that time. When you pass a certain point, a few characters who have become inactive due to story will be replaced with new ones who become more important.

Nani's story is complete in Chapter 1. Her slot switches to Matilda, who joins the story in Chapter 2.
The nuns all have identical tasks, so listing all 4 took up valuable slots, so we added Natalie and Grace in place of them.

Other characters not shown will have relationships or indirect connections with the characters shown, so... Stella has events that do not directly involve her, but start with visiting her... Luna and Lisa have events that they may not necessarily be directly involved in, but someone very close to them (who is not listed in the task journal) yet they play an important part of that love interest's story will have a task listed under that girl.

Why not just make more pages for the quest log? There's no way it would've been more complicated to code than the current switching in and out system.
