Yeah, I was hoping for some more customization in the relationships, but yeah, just 2 guys, and one of them hasn't been developing since the beginning. So when he came on board, it probably took some time to get up to speed. 2 people can only do so much in a certain time frame.
Typically 1.0 is Gold, or "Release version," and stuff past 1.0 is normally bug fixes... But maybe for an Early Access, the original goal for complete. However, during development, so many idea were thrown around, they decided to keep developing past 1.0. So those of use that have been exposed to program development before the popularity of Early Access, hearing the next update being 1.0 makes us wonder, "Are you really going to finish it for the next update? To tie up all of the loose ends and character stories... that's still a lot of content expected.
Since the game is EA, maybe it's the second option? Either way, looking forward to next, and potentially all updates.
