I've been putting this one on the back burner for a while now, and seeing as it just got a new update, I wonder how far from completion is this project? I hate cliffhangers lol
This is a small update that added a bunch of Christmas events. The mother of all updates will be up done within a few months. Having said that, I can't say for sure how far we are on completing the game but I can only say that we're working on it basically every day and that it's already huge.

This is the part I'm talking about.

Didn't see a way to avoid any of it but it makes me think other girls in the game will have similar paths.
Oops, I kinda forgot about those lines as they still stem from the first version and nobody ever mentioned it since then.
Cheers for the heads-up.

I can pretty much guarantee that's the only case in the whole game where that un-optionally happens. I'll alter it a bit for
the coming version. You're still in the very early game so things should get way more interesting the more you play including options on how things play out.

I'm confused as well since I didn't add that tag. There is a mild gay joke in the early game that triggered someone and got then went wild about a gay tag, so I'm guessing it's thanks to him it got added by a mod that didn't check the game out. With like 400 scenes in the game all focused on girls, this game doesn't need the use of gay tag but feel free to correct me on that.

Then there's also an optional futa scene and I don't count that as gay either so I'm not sure what's up.

Sadly no because the workload is already heavy enough as it is. Good Paths are pregnancy filled and Dark paths are not.
The only exceptions are Lilly/Sarah/Sophia. Maybe later during development, we'll add more split paths for certain girls that are currently neutral.

I don't recall that ever happening, but early-game Nani stuff was made 2 years ago. If that's the case, send me a screenie and I'll change that. There is an optional bukake scene that doesn't involve cock sucking if that's the one you're referring to.

In any case, it's not a common theme at all because basically, you can always opt out of stuff that's not your thing.
Later on in the story, you can go way more vanilla or way more hardcore depending on your preferences.

If you're in doubt about the branch-off section, just check them both out because they're very different. I personally think it's fun to see the two different sides of the story.

I think you're probably right that early game Nani's story is a tad wilder than others girls. Her theme was supposed to be exhibitionism.

I see. I hate it when games put 1 gay (even trap) scene just to bait some people. Thanks for clarifying that, maybe yeah it was a mods fault

So having given this game a go, I got soft locked out of the rest of the game. With all events now stuck, nothing happening, no lab. And circular references "progress with X, Y, Z" etc, with most of these locations not being available. And nothing simply happens.

Turns out if you don't talk to Emily early enough, I reloaded a save at day 53 after just having gone through the kidnapping of Sophia and proceeding events with Lily, who then both refer to the Bar (which i can't access). You will get locked out of completing Emily's event where you talk to her about it in her room.

Having reloaded a save at day 50, before I got/went to Sophia house for the choice of showing Lily the picture or not of Sophia being kidnapped (if it matters in my original runthrough that got softlocked i chose to not show the picture). I am able to trigger Emily's event in her room.

I didn't do this in my earlier playthrough, and ended up getting stuck at ~day 73 with no events triggering anywhere anymore. I know it's marked as Important.. but honestly I wasn't looking at the book since so many places were just chain triggering events. I'll have to play a bit further to see if this actually solves me getting stuck.. but this is at least 1 event i can clearly pinpoint will not trigger if you progress too far with Lily/Sophia, and appears to be vital to unlocking stuff like the Bar etc.

All in all seems like a pretty good game thus far.

Thank you very much for letting me know, I agree that the journal is not that important as there are a ton of events to keep you busy. There was someone else with the same issue linked to Emily and I thought I fixed that. Apparently, I have to dive a little bit deeper into that. Your information helps a lot.

Can you send me that save file where you got soft-locked? I'll look into it and will 100% fix that bug. I can also fix the save file for you as well so you won't have to redo that stuff. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You're still in the mid early to mid game so there's plenty of content left, if you're liking the game so far you're in for a wild ride.

Sure, i dug a bit and I have a save shortly after the final event with Lily and Sophia (where now the quest log refers to the bar) where Emily's event still triggers (day 52). And my save of 1 day later (i don't know what i did originally here though), it will no longer trigger.

12-5 is day 52 and after Lily & Sophia event (their log now refers to the bar), if I go from here straight to house => emily room the event still fires.
12-6 is day 53 and this is where going to Emily's room will no longer give the text/event about Sophia being missing.

17-3 is my save at day 72 where I exhausted all my options and going to Emily's room doesn't trigger anything.

I can see I triggered the Pamela event on day 52 going into day 53 originally, however that doesn't account for the entire day, nor does it prevent the event with Emily from firing on day 52 (when I tried to retrace my steps).

I sorta had to put this game down. It's a good game, don't get me wrong, it felt like the stuff going on in the background was getting way too dark for me. However, I might pick this back up in the future when I can. I like dark, but I think my head isn't screwed on straight enough at the the moment.

One of the major flaws of this game is the time u gotta wait for events, u run out of things to do and just gotta skip weeks to get to the next bit of "content" and then its often padding and not any actual scenes which are too few and fewer in variety i mean in the dark path its still mostly just vanilla options aside from the occasional NTR. Just removing waiting fully will be a major QOL and putting up icons when new scenes are ready at locations. Gallery unlock function for alternate scenes when u get one version would also be nice along with an option to keep the starting appearance of the mom as the "slut" one looks kinda meh.

Full save request again cuz playing trough this is too tedious at this point

"walktrough" instructions are really bad and often miss requirements, just keep doing other scenes and trying to trigger em at different times of day or wait for the major dates like the boss getting there for it to change over

IDK how that's possible. Up until Day 95 or so, there are at least 8 events per "week", depending on how you play. If you avoid anyone for any reason, you'll likely lock yourself out of some content since EVERY STORY is interwoven. Meaning: If you dislike and avoid a girl you consider unappealing, she's likely connected to the one you really like. It's not a Kinetic novel, but later events have prerequisite events with other characters.
thats another annoying part , as it adds needless filler as you gotta skip and waste more time instead of getting progress. Its a porn game, people don't play it for the fluff and story in a "boomer" shooter and care even less about it then in one of those. Even non-kinetic novels don't usually have filler or time sinks like this does.

I thoroughly checked it out for the past two hours and I don't know what's going on. At first, I thought a later event would overwrite access to Emily so I messed around with that, even playing your day 12-5 save file trying to recreate the bug, but I wasn't able to.

In 12-5 everything works because there are no missing events but on 12-6, Two key events from the early game are missing. I retraced said events and basically, they're impossible to miss as they are required for the game to continue leading to the Emily talk. I'll try and replicate this very rare issue at a later date but so far I'm pretty much at a loss.

Anyway, your latest save file (fixed) is at the bottom of this post. Cheers for all the help.

I don't really get it. A game without a story and only naughty scenes is just porn so then one might as well watch porn instead.

Also, this game is probably one of the most content-filled sandbox games out there with on average at least 2-3 events available a day. If you're having to wait 2 weeks for an event to trigger then you're doing something wrong. Removing said triggers as you suggested will make everything very chaotic, to the point of making the game unplayable or at the very least not enjoyable.

As for Dark Paths being mostly vanilla, that's the first time I've heard of that and I'm not really sure how to respond to that.

Alternative clothes/outfits would be really cool but way too time-consuming to implement. If I were to do that, future content would instantly drop by 30% which I don't think is worth it.

The journal is about 80 to 90% accurate at the moment. It also says, "Stuck somewhere? Complete other quests first."
If one does so, it's very easy to navigate through the game. In the next update, it will probably be 100% accurate as there will be a new coding system for that in place.

In any case, it's a work in progress and it's growing swiftly. The game has been improving with each and every update and will continue to do so.

it is a porn game to begin with onto which the dev is trying to slap a bloated crapware of a story like ppl care about a "story" in their fap material which again is irrelevant and gets in the way of a fun game and. One thing is having a bit of spice in a meal but when the spice is getting in the way of the meat and has become 90% of the meal then yeah you are doing shit wrong . A VN with adult content is one thing and an obvious wank game (which this thing is) is another and western devs have failed to produce anything that could be both at the same time and its a joke for the devs to claim that this is even trying.

Its already not enjoyable with how much time skippin i had to do and thats within getting all the scenes at their earliest dates. Seems like you don't do enough playtesting or don't know your game.

Never said anything about clothes.

So yeah you admit the journal is basically extremely rubbish.

Priorities: Adult Visual Novel vs Porn

Adult Visual Novel:
  • Create relatable characters who appeal physically and emotionally with the player.
  • Tell a STORY.
  • Entertain all aspects of a player's senses - mental, physical, morality, and sexual.
  • Build relationships either slowly or through manipulation of others in some way.
  • Build suspense, create drama, make jokes and have satisfying, shocking, and hilarious payoffs.
  • Add Porn scenes.

Porn:
  • Show people doing sexual things, damn any sort of story.
  • If there's a plot? It's just there to set up the relationships, nothing more.
  • Make the viewer cum - as hard and as satisfyingly explosive as possible.

If you don't want to read? Don't like being challenged by a NOVEL?
Then don't play Visual NOVELS. Go find some porn and fap.

Fuck off and go jerk off to some porn instead of bullying our devs you fucking weirdo.
If I only wanted to jerk off then I'd load up some characters in Koikatsu and jerk off to them. I, and just about everyone else here, is here for the story, the character development and the scenes just as much as the smut.
criticism isn't "bullying" snowflake. I mean thats what you are doing its just that the other guy is loading the scenes for you and u gotta jump trough hoops

Dude i probably read more actual books and novels in a week then u do in a year, its why i well know the difference. This porn game is literally advertised off the porn aspects so porn game. Main highlights in the update notes are sex scenes hence porn game. The problem is that dev like certain others doesn't seem to get that majority of people don't care about him padding out his good put together scenes with way more padding thats not even written above a porn writing level which is embaressing.
There are also totally porn games that do have really amazing writing and characters tho some unintentional. For example the first two parts of monster girl quest you could cut all the +18 stuff and still get an amazing ride out of the story, discipline is an unintentionally really fucking funny in a certain. But again japanese examples mostly made by experienced people and not egotistical devs that think they are writing the some emotional piece instead of smut and getting way too into it that they ruin the smut part.

Thats fine. I would have been more scared about people who play this games and think that "we are not playing darkest ones so we are morally superior"
