For anyone who is having msvcp120 errors, you need to download the versions of visual C++ redists from this link: . Corresponding to the errors you're getting. So msvcp120 is version 12.

You need to ensure you also install the 32 bit (x86) versions, even if you're on a 64bit machine. You don't need to place any dlls in the game folder.
That depends on what they missing, like if they missing msvcr100.dll, then you might have to download the dll file because the installers for it no longer works and are not supported anymore, so you gonna have to add the msvcr100 in the games folder for it to work since it does not get registered on the System folder.

I had to literally need to place the dll file i was missing into the games folder for the game to work.

Microsoft have all versions on that link until 8.0 so msvcr100.dll is supported. I managed to get it working on a new pc after installing the 32bit versions, but the 64bit alone doesn't work. The issue I imagine is that the program is 32bit and the program checks syswow64 for the dlls. Having the dll in the folder is functionally the same but downloading random dlls and allowing an application to use them is not a good idea for security.

if thats right, then why do i so know that it says on the site that Visual Studio 2010 no longer supported. And that when i try download and use the installer, it says it does not exist.

And just to clarify, yes the other installers does work, but not the one that contain the msvcr100.dll thats missing for me.
So i had to download the dll manualy and place it inside the games folder.
The 120.dll on the other hand was luckily not broken from the installer, so i could get that one working at least.

The "end of support" is just Microsoft saying they wont update it, not that it wont work. If the application was built using version 10, then we still need to have version 10 installed. This only affects some people because games and other software usually pack redists for the ones they need.

I don't know about you not being able to see the installer, I can download it just fine. Here is a direct link for the 32 bit version:

Its not that i cant download it correctly, its that when i start the installer it says that it cant find the installer.

And its only the installer of that version that does not work, while some of the others does, but they dont have the dll file im missing, so the only thing i can do is manualy download the dll file im missing and place it in the games folder, since system32 cant detect it without it being installed.

Also, im on win11, but that should not matter since i already told you that its only that installer version that does not work.
