New improved translation was released on steam - both the main game and the adult patch were updated. Could it be updated here as well?

The negative review is wildly bad. Just say you hate headstrong women and go. Would love to see a more nuanced review, done by someone who knows the difference between "there" and "their".
Anyways, the game looks cute, and I really enjoy vampires, glad it got a better translation.

Oh my god, it took long enough for the translation… I’ve been waiting on it for years!
Many years back I supported this game on Kickstarter for about $100+ And it succeeded. Eventually it arrived and I have a physical version of the game and some nice bonus’. At that time I had no time to play it, but I meant to. When I did have time to play it I would get emails saying “Don’t worry guys, we hear you, so we’re actively working on a new translation!”
We would get periodic emails talkinf about the translation progress for YEARS. Sometimes they’d give snippets of the improvements and stuff, then suddenly a few years ago, I stopped receiving them. Turns out that there were trouble with the actual campaign and one it’s leaders (legal issue maybe) and the people in charge of updates lost access to the Kickstarter account or something.
I honestly think about this game sometimes wondering out loud that It would never happen… now it’s here… this is crazy to me hahaha.

Why do you have an opinion on a review of a game you haven't played? From what I recall, the review is fairly accurate, if slightly inflammatory. The protagonist spends too much time moping about not wanting to be a vampire, and because of that he's useless, or even detrimental to his allies.
Would someone be able to provide the steam patch? Or update the OP with it?

I always buy VNs I see off of here if they have official steam releases (that aren't complete jokes anyways). Bought this too, then I realized Iris doesn't have a route. Refunded that and will download off of here, I don't know what the dealis with that but that's just fucking asinine.

if you unzipped it to program files etc. (protected folder) either move somewhere else like c:\games OR try to run it as an administrator.
That file is "being created" to save your (menu) preferences so there is no "proper". You can just delete it to recreate.
