Well, that's because it already is a comic. Seems to me the Dev liked the pics from the comic and wanted to make a quick game of it.

And if he had bothered to look at the thread title, and was at least a bit aware of the scene, he'd known the game was based on the comic...

I'm going to write a review. This whole VN could be a 22MB comic instead of 782MB. I just converted all the images in WebP format 88% quality (I could have used Jpeg as well).

A game based on a comic can mean many things. First of all, there is no game here. Just a linear short story. Being over 780MB makes a player suppose the content is much more deep than just 136 images that fit in less than 25MB.
