More info: when entering Glory Hall it seems that the south security guard is blocking second floor and then somehow takes the script package of a bald guy that should've appeared later instead.
I tested a save provided by the dev (save 43 in .094 version) and in that one there is no security guard blocking the second floor and the correct bald guy appears and the quest goes correctly. Problem is, that dev save doesn't have the same stats for Lida as mine and probably differs in other achievements and past events as well, that's why I'm hesitant in using it.

I hit the same issue when i was playing, I had to hack the RPGM files to get past it :/. I wasn't going to use included save game as I had no clue what the dev had done in his gameplay... IIRC this one took me the most playing with json files to get past cleanly...

I believe i did both save editor and actual program... I have RPGM Maker MV program so can edit code. IIRC it had an issue firing one of the events that was supposed to have the guy come down from upstairs (removing the guy blocking path) and say something about needing to check upstairs... don't recall exact wording off hand. If you attach your save file i can look at it and see if I can remember what needs to be done/fix it. It might have ended up with setting a specific variable, but the issue with save editor is if a var is at 0 it doesn't let you add/edit itIn what way did you hack the files? I sent you my save files in private message. Like I mentioned there, the quest objective markers disappeared for me after talking to the tattooed prostitute.

save the walk sequenece actually fired but it wouldn't let you go to second floor due to some reason 10 gets screwed up somehow long before this...
EDIT actually i think simply changing var 10 to 0 before doing anything should work and make it play out as planned... This should work for any of those saves but definitely for 18

I also do not know. This game creator made the game very puzzling at times with no clues.
is there a reason why after i got the flash dive and i go back to the farm and go to the room in the basement to use the computer that instead of being able to do that the snake sceen plays again an then i get softlocked and cant do anything

You sure it's a comic? Cause I've seen exactly this render in 0.96 when Lida was remembering her husband and their wedding.
If you have RPG Maker save editor load your save and go into advanced mode. Then go to "variables" tab and change the 10th variable (cyrillic-something 7) to 27. Big kudos to Phalzyr for helping me with this exact problem today as well!
Well, that's what Tereman said in his last post. Then Idk... however there's this "dev's blog" on his patreon's page taht I can't see that is driving me crazy; it might be a little spoil of the next update.
I walk outside of the hotel after viewing the flash drive and the game freezes every time. Anyone know what I can do to fix this issue?

Can you attach the save file? So many bugs in this game kinda hard to recall them all... See my post one below this one and see if that fixes your issue, scrolling code in 0.96 locks the game up (so does a couple other things but this one is easily fixed.)
My thoughts on what was causing a lot of the issues with previous code confirmed

Further research I found out that a specific plugin was causing the scrolling to stop working, turning that plugin off seems to solve the issue. so no need to have multiple versions of game till he gets it fixed?
