Is this renpy version a remake or the continuation of the previous 2 chapters?

If you go a few lines up, if you want it's a continuation just in RENPY format. So as stated if you want RENPY for episode 1 you need that unofficial version, then you need episode 2 of RPGM, then continue on to this version episode 3.

It's probably because of the "no audio device found" some RENPY games refuse to start if you sound is disabled, which I find happens when I have 2 monitors, and switch back and forth. Just restart your computer, unless you legit have no sound device/card.

So on that, episode 1 and 2 = episode 1 of RPGM version? Then after you need to continue using EP2 of RPGM?

EP2 is also in unoffcial renpy but the dev no longer work on porting in renpy
EP2 in renpy is just up to 1.96...
Thee end of EP2 can be played using rpgm with the saves included that starts from end of 1.96
I do not remember the save number but is easy to find the point

Yeah, lots of uncompressed media. The dev said future updates will be optimized, so expect a huge reduction in size.
