Pizza Hot! is made with UNITY and SPINE and PLAYMAKER which is really difficult to develop.. but not this type of an easy game that uses RENPY and HONEY SELECT 2

I am lurking for years and I observe that every time the creators will become lazy after one or two versions because they start making big money from subscribers.. and that is what is happening with Life as an Innocent Waitress

The studio worked really hard for 0.1.0 and after the big success, they worked less hard than before which is why 0.2.0 was average.. and now.. they have completely given up. There is no willingness to come back, no enthusiasm no excitement and only procrastinating the work more and more. All your foolish praises have blinded them completely.

This has become another clone of Pizza Hot.. I am saying this as a subscriber.. remember my words

Where do you get your information?
Last I heard, they took a summer vacation. People dont work during vacations.

this - i cba to search for it now, but somewhere in this thread is a statement of them regarding their break.
they had holidays planned for after the 0.1 release, but postponed them because of the success 0.1 had. They rushed to bring us 0.2 and started their holidays after that. I feel like this is totally acceptable and no sign of getting lazy or giving up

Game is not being updated after they said they were taking a break!? How dare they not work while on vacations! What a lazy ass dev, taking time off without our permission...

This confirms that people can't bother to investigate or even read at all. Someone posted a message from the dev in page 64... Yes they are on a break still, people need those too. The secret is using your eyes to read the words, and your brain instead of your ass to do the thinking.

My understanding is that the lock becomes jammed after you use it a number of times (and yes, leveling up your lock skills does increase the number of uses before that happens), not that it's broken in the sense of someone breaking down the door to get in. Either way, it's confusing to have the OP say "I should lock the door next time" when I already did.

I am borderline addicted to this game, I just hope the update lets you actually choose which barriers are broken so you can have her go down a look but don't touch path as well as difficulty levels for the people like the grind also more and replayable dream sequences. Thank you so much good sir, you are doing the lords work!

I agree. I did a "whatever it takes to get rent money" playthrough, and now I'm doing a "try to stay at 100 Reputation" playthrough, where I basically just do the most repressed reaction to everything. She already had the dream that it's okay to show underwear on day 6.

I think this game does a good job of having a lot of slight, incremental increases in corruption, so it feels like you're making steady progress in corrupting the MC, while not getting to the end of the road too quickly. I spent about three in-game weeks basically saying yes to everything, and she still hasn't even given a guy a handjob yet. Granted, that may be because that level of corruption isn't programmed into the game yet, but the point is that it feels like there is still gradual progress being made in the corruption journey. A lot of other games like this would feel like the same few events were endlessly repeating if it didn't progress to some level of contact with a penis, but so far, this game hasn't felt like the corruption progress has leveled off or gone stale yet. Hope that doesn't mean it's the kind of thing where there's so much slow, incremental progress being developed that it takes forever to do the art or animations, and the game never comes close to being finished.

One negative thing I will say is that the description in the OP says that things happen "not because you let them," but I think you do kinda have to let them if you want to keep up with the rent payments. I just don't see how you could ever get enough tips doing it the hard way (even with all the skills maxed). I guess maybe if you had a look but don't touch policy, where you only get angry if they grope you and not if they strip you (because not being fully dressed is really good for tips), but that still feels kinda like you're letting them.

Also, does reporting bus gropers to the officer ever start making a difference, or is it not implemented yet?

nothing has been implemented in the game yet. hopefully this game won't be like the others - 10 years and no progress. many with a good start ended up in the trash because the developers either wanted quick money or got caught up in negative reviews (even a good game will have them). if one scene takes ~year, then I won't pay for such a game. there are developers who update ~every month, even though the progress isn't great. and the game itself is finished in 1-2 years. if i like the game i will support it, even if it is not finished yet. so i would not recommend the developers to follow the road map, but to do as much as they can and release an update at least once every 1-3 months. the longer, the higher the requirements. there is no police here yet, no sexual activity (in the bar), no interaction with many characters. so i am waiting to know whether to support it or not. because the game has a lot of potential.
