Why do this looks like another teasing game when after 6 months no update is coming out but have 582 paid members on patreon (even if they are 3$ that is 1746$ a month) and i am sure not everyone are 3$ so yea 1746$ a month (minimum) for doing absolutely nothing for 6 months ...smells like a milking a good idea scam to me !!!


EDIT: OK i see it was my mistake and i apologize for my out of place comment. Was a bit heated and got something more to drink and i am sorry for my ignorance. It's just a game is really great and would hate to see it die like all those other good games that just ceased to update.

all that person is saying is in the real world companies work on deadlines... everything works on a deadline same as for you its something alien to a person that doesnt work as a professional, but hey even in fast food u have deadlines i.e. working hours LMAO... i mean really its how the world is like everything has a deadline even products sold have a deadline aka expiration date...

aren't we get a deadline at end of this year? or you are saying he mean to have a 15 days deadline each update or each presenting progress?

if you are saying presenting progress, aren't we get progress showing in picture of new rendering every now and then which is actually shorter than 15 days.

if you are expecting an update for each 15 days deadline, then you are saying "I don't understand anything about game development". there is one genre of game that get an update every 2 to 6 weeks, which is live service game. guess how many developers are need for the simplest live service game? can you guess how many? I think you/he don't have any clue.

Listen, Frission, just don't pay these guys any attention, if you have to delay the game for at least a few more days then most of us would understand.
I will have to say to these guys freaking out about the game not having an update yet, that you're sounding like those Youtubers wigging out about Clair 33 winning the Game Awards, so just relax and hopefully we'll get the update before next year, K?

lmao no one is fricking out on anything not sure why people have problems understand, i am just stating a FACT that is all, I didnt even question or made an arguement that the developer has to do this OR that, how is simply stating a fact becoming such a HUGE issue for some.....

I did not even call out this developer for anything just looking like a project he does with his free time ontop of work that is all... but the rabid fanboi are so worried that this would somehow rubbed the wrong way and making the developer abandon this project, BUT as I said its you and I dont count for much in the great scheme of things ITs the VAST majority that decides if this would be a success or not i.e. how many copies it will sell... get IT????

so just stop posting anymore as its getting to the point of be a waste of time and stop putting shit up like saying OH we expect this or THAT.. come on grow UP kiddo!!!!

I really don't understand what's happening here: Frisson announced that the *expected* delivery date is the end of the year. Discord channel is updated regularly and I guess Patreon and other channels are too. So why freak out? I can only wish Frisson good luck with his (their?) game.

This “creator” bullied an ESL person who didn't speak English, who was using Google Translate from Portuguese, and berated and humiliated him for asking some basic questions. Arguably, even if his questions might have been annoying, what gives him the right to speak on your behalf? And berate someone in a public channel?



Afterwards, the poor guy kept apologizing for no reason; he probably doesn't even realize that he was being publicly insulted just for chatting in the English channel. He hasn't sent a single message after that.



I doubt he'll chat much after this, fearing he may offend someone again because of his questions or replies.



It's clearly not the first time this “developer” has been disrespectful in your Discord Server, and I doubt it'll be the last... but does this behaviour seem normal to you? Being rude to the people who are in YOUR server for asking questions to YOU? Just because he finds those questions annoying?

I understand, and this wasn't directed at you or asking you to ban anyone, but my gripe was with the other “creator” being disrespectful and downright rude to someone who doesn't even speak English, and even if his questions were arguably annoying, no one should be allowed to talk down to others just because they also happen to be a “developer”.

The Discord Server is your domain and under your ownership; telling someone that ‘they're being annoying is fuck’ is utterly insulting when done publicly, and no one should be allowed to speak that way to your members... paid or free, doesn't matter. The poor guy kept apologizing because he thought he had done something wrong, when in reality, he had just been overly enthusiastic in asking a bunch of questions that had been translated through Google Translate, so it might've been lost in translation.

Anyway, that's spilled milk under the bridge.

Maybe I will put this forum on ignore until the update comes out. People have the right to post but OMG my head hurts from reading all the stupidity. Aside from my highly intelligent and to the point comments about only donating/supporting the project once updates come out very few peoples posts have had anything worthwhile to say. I understand that being the genius that I am that other people sound stupid by contrast.

Once more, the release date is the end of Dec as the dev has stated several times. I hope that date is honored and the update is a long one with good quality because then I will donate again. Eh, might do the same, while I doubt this would end the same as Succulence 2. I just being hopeful and wishing that everyone would relax a bit.
I don't think I was whiteknighting, but still, this feed is turning chaotic, so I'll just keep an eye out to see if the update comes out, and like I said before, if there's a delay, I just hoping it would just be at most just another week. Anyway, to everyone here, Have a good one!
