what does he means by 0.4.2? i only see 0.4.1Nobody reported a bug with the angry client scene. So 0.4.2 won't fix anything there. What's your issue with that event?
0.4.2 is available on patreon/subscribestar (i think it is. I dont have em) and itch.iowhat does he means by 0.4.2? i only see 0.4.1

Not too mach...will 0.4.2 be available? I think there's a lot of fixes, should I wait?
You consider that not too much? Impressive. Also just another way the dev fail to meet their release date. Sure they "released" it but with a ton of bugs that were in the last version as well. Am losing and have already lost a lot of respect for this dev. It amazes me how many people worship the ground this dev walks on. Just a question but have you people be beaten up so much in life that the slightest little thing that isn't super horrible is like heaven for you?Not too mach...

“Tons of bugs” and “missed release date” is impressive confidence for someone who is factually wrong on both.You consider that not too much? Impressive. I'd reword that. The game isn't released, "just" update 0.4.The official release deadline was 12/31/25.
The game was officially released on 12/28/25, which is before the deadline.
Yup a ton of new boring content, you got that right.View attachment 5586538
They == Frisson Studios
It's so funny that this “creator” advocates for smaller updates, and bigger content updates are seen as problematic by him.
His own game looks like a tech demo with barely any content, despite five years of “development”, and now he's trying to mislead Frisson into going down the same route. I hope for everyone's sake that Frisson is smarter than to ignore this dogshit advice.
What makes Life as an Innocent Waitress stand out is the staggering amount of content and Frisson's overcommitment to deliver a gigantic update even if it takes half a year to do so. While there are many that would prefer a shorter development cycle of 2–3 months, it's very clear to me from 0.4.0's release that Frisson needs a proper 6 months of development, otherwise they have to skip content—like they had to for the Showering events, Boyfriend branch, and the College location. They need the time to make it better and worthwhile, and they cannot be rushed into making things go magically faster.
The other creator is a snake in the grass and simply jealous of the success of Life as an Innocent Waitress, and he can't digest seeing those Tier 7 and Tier 8 subscribers in his Discord Server, so now he tries to sabotage this game too with his awful advice and sowing the seeds for milking the game.
Depend who you take for comparison, if it's Darkcookie than yeah, for sure you're a real Stakhanovite; but I remember when Anyx worked on his game, all by himself, actually delivering "staggering" amount of content with 60+ animations per month, releasing an actual "gigantic" game, completed in a single year.What makes Life as an Innocent Waitress stand out is the staggering amount of content and Frisson's overcommitment to deliver a gigantic update even if it takes half a year to do so.
Yup. I started going to work early to skip the train. Then get to work and realize it's a bartender day and hit "rest for 60 seconds" until it's over because the boss is going to take my tips anyway. Maybe these can be salvaged but they're not fun as is.But the new train and less so but also the bar mini game are game stopping bad.
So right, at first I didn't dislike the bartender mini game and considered it the best part of this 6 month update but its just not fun. After going back and playing 2.2 I have to wonder what the heck the devs are doing and I say this as someone who is ok with a grind as long as its somewhat fun. I enjoyed 2.2 far more then I enjoy 4.1 which is sad.Yup. I started going to work early to skip the train. I both disagree and agree with your post and would like to ask your opinion of 2.2 vs 4.1. Do you really find 4.1 to be an improvement over 2.2? If so how? I find the subway mini-game much worse, the waitressing which I thought was the main focus got next to no love and instead this new bar-tending mini game while at first I didn't hate it is just boring an repetitive and doesn't seem to go anywhere. At least with the waitress mini game I felt like there were goals to attain. This 4.1 update feels all over the place with very little direction. Oh and don't get me started about the beach, tried it, hated it and always skip it.Depend who you take for comparison, if it's Darkcookie than yeah, for sure you're a real Stakhanovite; but I remember when Anyx worked on his game, all by himself, actually delivering "staggering" amount of content with 60+ animations per month, releasing an actual "gigantic" game, completed in a single year.
Don't get me wrong, I love what Frisson is doing, but let's not pretend it's the second coming of Porn-Jesus, multiplying the smut, either.
