No idea about that game, but I refuse to support games that self-censor like that lol. It's always the same pattern also:
>Game with incest/other spicy theme gets popular
>gains a lot of fans
>dev gets greedy
>self-censor and destroy the story to get the Steam paycheck
you forot about the nagging patreon and steam

-> game with incest/other spicy theme gets popular
-> gains a lot of fans
-> patreon/steam/itch or whatever/whoever gets their panties in a bunch and ban the dev
-> dev has to bend over backwards to get his shit back
-> dev gets his shit back but has wasted a year or more on nothing but getting his shit back

Pick one.
Can't have both

the fact that all devs have eyes looking up for steam while GoG is right there on ther corner of the street...
aunt house is planning steam already censored the name and story the mother now probably will be a friend of friend friends who show up in the home later
However, the question here would be whether would even be willing to distribute pornographic games.

Gog has been selling NSFW games for a long time. Also, it was probably one of the few, if not the only platform, that attempted to stand up against the censorship in some way, with they free AVNs they were giving out in August.

For Lord's sake. It's one of the best games with awesome animation and char's models. Is there any news about season 2 or smth? I refuse to believe that project like this dies for nothing. :HideThePain:

That's why I never support any developer; the truth is, you can't trust anyone. It would be much easier to release a finished game and sell it than to sell subscriptions and updates. That way, I would support 100% more games. Supporting games in development is asking for trouble with this kind of situation; I can only imagine how those who supported the project from the beginning feel."

You have sounded another edge of running to extremes. The most of developers lack of their own funds. First of all the behavior of the patron should have some resemblence in investment behavior. Before donating into develpment of the vn the deep study of developer`s track record is highly expected. I should confirm, there is no cure agaings a bad - faith behaviour lke ICSTOR\GUNDROP etc. But the reputation of sophiscticated develper is a some warranty which induces into ivestment.

I'm just wondering what all the discussion, hope and anxiety is about, whether there will be an update or not... LISC wouldn't be the first good game to end up in data nirvana. From that perspective, all we can do is wait and see... and if an update does eventually arrive, we won't remember all the details of the story anyway and will usually start over from the beginning. The best thing to do is to kick it off the SSD/HDD and wait patiently. At least, that's how I see it. ;)
