Please, note there’s no mention of approximate release date of update. Moody has been taught to write hints in common words without setting dates. I don’t believe there to be a sufficient difference between patreon and steam editions. In mainly part it’s the matter of the developer. Ok, Moody you and your friends did the steam release. Just download the mod and extract it using a program like 7zip or WinRAR. Then, copy and paste the files from the mod's "game" folder into the "game" folder of Life in Santa County. If asked to overwrite, just click yes, and you're all set!
Hey guys, I am about 2/3 through the game. What is the relationship between Lauren and the MC? The intro said the MC's parents died, and his mom's friend Lauren (then a professor) took him into her family. But later statements seem to hint at her being his real mom, I think Lauren mentions something around the lines of
. Yet again, Charlotte at some point says "... my mother ...". It's really confusing! I wonder if the rewriting of the game at some point maybe led to those contradictions.

I started playing yesterday and noticed some issues. Sometimes, characters refer to events I don’t remember, like a conflict between the MC and his friend Ron that I never saw.
What really stood out was when Lauren called the MC for a conversation (after the scene with Camelia), but instead, he returned home and had a scene with Iris. The conversation with Lauren never took place, yet later, the MC had a monologue about things that didn’t happen.
Is this happening to everyone, or is it just me?

Though I don't remember conflict between MC and Ron you're referirng to, but talk with Lauren (she calls you while you're at Camelia's) was skipped indeed.
So it’s not just me having this issue, good to know.
When talking to the pink unicorn at school, the MC mentions that things with Ron aren’t going well and that it’s different from before. But I don’t recall anything happening.
