The Steam version is the superior version until the Patreon version gets the updated GUI. It's a lot smoother and it just seems like a whole new game. Plus, you got the built in WT (you can use it or not) and many other added features.

Patreon will get the same GUI update with the launch of Season 2 which could still be a ways off.

It didn't. Both are Season 1, both are the end of Season 1, and both are the same. Both have the same missing animations. Both have the same content.

Steam version has added SFX, built in WT, new GUI, updated Ren'Py engine and other behind the scene changes.

Yes, for instance, Family Faring is now shadow banned and you can only see the page if you are a subscriber, if it lapses, you cannot see the page and it says it is gone. There are other developers as well that have been shadow banned. Everyone chalked this up to an error on SS's part and some accounts came back, but then a week later it was back the same thing and they are all games that have content that almost every single site does not allow and one dev got arrested over.

But, yes devs have been banned on SS. Patreon doesn't enforce it really either until it's reported. Example, No Mercy, that dev had their Patreon account for years, then after it blew up after it launched on Steam, Patreon finally took action.

Seems a few people are confused about what was changed in this version and are wondering if it's just identical to the Patreon version. The answer is no, it's not the same but it's mostly the same. There are quite a few differences (and despite what some people are saying, they are mostly good changes). I can summarize some of notable changes:

1) First and foremost, ALL of the high school content was cut. A few of the important characters were kept (Rose, Camilla, Elena) converted to an office setting, but all the rest of the minor characters and subplots were removed.
My opinion: A lot of those highschool characters were just bloat to begin with and the plot has since gone in a different direction entirely, so I'm fine with it getting cut. It's not really a loss. In fact, I'm quite happy it's gone because literally none of the high school characters were interesting. The conversion to an office setting was a little hamfisted, but the characters we cared about stayed and all of the porn is still there. So I'm fine with that too

2) New UI, new features, and a few tracks of new music
My opinion: I don't really have any complaints. The new UI is clean

3) Different Charlotte model. More filled out and a little taller. Difference face and hair
My opinion: Mixed feelings. Her body is much nicer now in my opinion, but I'm not digging the new face. I thought the old version was much prettier. Don't know they couldn't have have just updated her body while keeping her face the same. Now this feels like someone else. I understand the point of updating her figure (her old version looked pretty adult to me, but whatev)... unless they accidentally lost assets I'm not sure why they changed her face too

4) The Karen and Phil plot has been reworked with new renders, dialogue and animations
My opinion: Good changes. Karen is more likeable up front, and the new animations are hot as fuck *chef's kiss*

Other than those things, it's basically the same Season 1 as the Patreon version. The sex animations still look great and the story is.... well best not worry about the story too much... Overall, the Steam version is an improvement. With this, hopefully all of the reworks are done with and we can start getting new content again.

It's pretty clear, just looking at Family Faring's banner, that they have another kind of content, let us call it "loli", that would be the reason.

There have been large swathes of creators removed at once and without explanation because Patreon decided to suddenly crack down on specific kinds of content. I've seen these creators en masse enter the Patreon Discord server and complain about it, looking for some kind of recourse and getting nowhere. Typically, if Patreon cracks down on a lone creator, they give that creator a chance to change their content before going with a permanent ban.

Also, no, SS is not (primarily, as you imply) known for pedo content. There are a lot of developers kicked off of Patreon that moved to SS, or have opened a SS account just in case, and most adult devs on there aren't doing pedo content.

Anyway, this is diverging a good bit from LISC. I think it's safe to say that LISC, instead of risking Patreon account ban and moving to SS, has decided the wiser course is to appease Patreon. This is probably the right choice, if they want to continue as a serious developer, given the payment issues with SS.

That was changed and started a long time ago with v0.9.0 update on Patreon. This was part of the rework, v0.10.0 and v0.11.0 all changed the intro and removed all the underage (high school) content so they could release on Steam.. This is why all saves were broken back then and the intro was changed. Almost everything you speak is in the Patreon version.

Only the new gui, sfx, and built in WT is what is new. It still has the same missing animations as the Patreon version.

FF got reinstated just recently, only a matter of time before it happens again, since this is now the third time, just check the thread about it.

And yes, Patreon really does not hardly enforce until it gets reported (or they see it on F95), those big swaths you speak of, there was a user on here who got doxed (mods removed the thread pretty quickly, but not quick enough) that was responsible for reporting 100's upon 100's of Patreon accounts, at the end of the day, the user was responsible for reporting more than 500 accounts. The user even went into some of these developers Discord and even said he did and was doing it. And Patreon usually will not give any reason for a ban.


I mean other developers like Ocean and "Where it all Began" is now removing incest from their game and that game is only on SS, it is coming to Steam soon as well.

No, the dev appeased to Steam, Steam only cares about 3 things, underage content, sex in a high school, setting, which implies underage (same with Patreon) and bestiality, but let's be real, furry is same shit.

Steam does not care about incest or rape, they could have easily released it on Steam with the patch like they used to, but they didn't, like a lot of devs do with the Steam version and is uncensored compared to the Patreon version.

I have played other games on the Steam version and the images were better and the dynamics were also better. Unfortunately in this one, the ".exe" file is not working. The game does not open. I hope this is fixed so I can try it out.

He did start changing the dialogue back v0.9.0 but unless there's a different version of v0.11.0 that was never posted to F95, all of the high school scenes are still definitely in the Patreon v0.11.0 copy on the OP. Download it and see for yourself.

oh wow, its a complete rework of the story, I didn't know this was going to happen. I kinda like it though, i hate school settings in general tbh, college is excusable since most of those games take part in sororities or parties, outside or whatever, but I really hate school settings in anything lol. I just hope now we can finally progress with the story cuz man, it's been FOREVER and it hasn't gone anywhere
