hello i have a problem, i'm using the walkthrough mod and it's seems like it's not giving me the choice between the lover or criminal path going straight to criminal, i did some research and some people told to use urm but i'm honestly completly lost i don't know how and what to do so that i can choose the lover path, would someone be kind and maybe help me with that little problem ? thank you

I haven't really been paying too much attention to this game so I am sorry if this has already been discussed. But is this steam version now the only one that is going to be worked on, or will the dev work on 2 versions, one for steam and another for patreon?

They didn't post the "updated Steam" version in the OP. Use the fix in the quote below to get it to start.

2. Game does not launch, no output to cmd either
This seems to be an issue in renpy, It seems to assume that presplash images (or only presplash_background) are smaller than screen resolution, which results in it sending negative value to another function that cant handle it

In my case, I use 1280x1024, and the LISC\game\presplash_background.png file is 1778x1000, renaming the file or resizing it below screen resolution resulted in the game launching successfully

Found the cause by launching the game using python

Moody said any high school related content would be cut from the final version when it launches on Steam. The rework changed any high school related content to college (there was the name of the school on a sign). They didn't want to have any chance of the game being denied. I don't expect the Patreon version to stay this way, it could very well have changed already even.

It is hard to imagine them making 2 different versions and not having one universal version since Patreon and Steam share more or less the same rules, besides incest/rape, and since they don't seem like they want to add the patch back with the Steam version, it seems like they want a unified version. By patch I mean they had a patch in the actual game files and on Lewdpatcher (yes it was official) that worked for all versions before, and they could have easily reset LISC back to it's incest roots for Steam, but they chose not to.

Moody said they would publish a devlog in the coming days to make a clear distinction on the differences between Steam and Patreon.

I could not image the dev time on this game if they actually did 2 versions.

At least they said Season 2 will be the last and no more after.

Thank you! I will have to start a new game anyway and since this release doesn't add any new content I will just wait for new content to come out to play it again. His discord his private so it's hard to know what are the reactions of the people that have been supporting him but it seems like this release has been a massive shitshow.

I just started the pateron version because the steam one has cut content but I have a question. Does the game have no sound? I see an option for music and sound effects but im over an hour in and there hasn't been a single noise made by the game. Also the I patch does not work so the dialogue is weird in some places

No, the Patreon version doesn't have sound effects (yet), that might change in the next update as the Patreon and Steam versions will likely be the same. Moody said they will have a detailed devlog in the coming days what the exact diffrences will be between Patreon and Steam version. If you used the patch from Lewdpatcher it no longer works. You need the mod/patch combo.

Steam version is better imho, the content that isn't there will be slowly added, and the high school content will more than likely be removed from the Patreon version soon too. It has a built in WT as well. The incest patch is currently being updated for the Steam version as well.
