Previously they were all either JPG or PNG, but sometimes they were encoded WEBP, as the developers of these games do, to save space.
So I'm asking why NOW downloaded banners of games don't open/view on PC...

Well idk what garbage program you using but open fine.. I've converted it to proper png for you (its like 8 times as big), I suggest either switch to

(you can also get xnshell for in shell conversion) to convert to whatever format you desire it'll rebuild and you get granular with settings erase all metadata preserving only color profile etc..

Incest patch + gallery unlock for Steam version.
This is my first ever patch, so it might not be perfect, but it works on my end.
If you want to change the dialogue header Lauren = Mom, Chloe = Auntie etc.
You can use a save editor or the renpy console and change the values of the variables "Lauren_name" and "Chloe_name".
