guys i think im retarded, extracting walkthrough mod into my game folder hasnt worked for me, just started reading. any help?

Make sure there's no game folder within game folder. From the mod's 'game' folder, make sure to extract and copy only the files, not the complete folder.
I can't distinguish between whether or not the mod is present, no features that hint it out but the fonts and other stuff did change, to be honest I've been reading for only a few minutes from my last save file and was presented with a few choices, although I am not entirely sure if each choice has an effect or only certain choices in parts of conversations do. Thanks anyways.

I mean aside from installing it.. which is obviously the indication you installed it. Start a new game, do you get the option to cheat? (Start with +5 Charisma/Dom) or no?

You don't get, what I meant. Yes, update wise the game will go on. But for most us the game died when the first butchered rework version (0.9) came out.
Despite what Moody wrote in discord everything we gonna have is a sad story about the Fire and Water unleashed in the Turkey. By the way h ed banned me from his patreon page.
I assume the game was mainly free-roam before rework? Don't know how drastically the game changed but as a new reader I am enjoying the game atleast.
Nope, i assume it may be due to the guy who made the last walkthrough/walkthrough mod was only active like 2-3 years ago?

The Walktrough/Multi-Mod* link on page 1 is for the current steam version and under old version is the 0.11 patreon link, i used them on the steam and 0.11 patreon version and they are 100% working.
Damn, I extracted the walkthrough mod, copied all files and folders from it and pasted it into the game folder for Santa County.
any other tips?

This seems strange. If you merges the /game folder with the /game folder then all should be good.
Another way to see would be if your gallery is completed unlocked as his mod includes the gallery unlocker, unlessofc you removes the gu.rpy/gu.rpyc files beforehand.
Otherwise you can always try my edit of his mod , not that installation is different but you can check preferences there and ensure walkthrough / incest patch etc is on. or turn them off at your leisure. But by the sounds of it if nothing loading.. i'd say you might be moving the /game folder into the /game folder meaning if you check inside the game folder and see another game folder yeah no bueno. you want the contents of the game folder in the zip to go directly inside the game folder.
Dunno man, gallery for replays and secret scenes are all unlocked but I can never see any text guiding for dialogue decisions for the actual story. Ill try doing what you have said at the bottom though, thanks.

There are two version of the mod. Version 1 is only incest patch and unlocker. Version 2 have the wt mod as well. If you don't see any choice guides than you might be using the first version of the mod.
