NEW UPDATE AND STEAM DEVLOG

Hey guys!
I'm coming at you today with a celebration, an exciting update preview, AND the Steam release date announcement!
STEAM RELEASE DATE : 16 MAY
First off, I want to start by giving a heartfelt thanks to everyone who's supported me and contributed to this journey. I've really come to understand just how challenging it is to juggle two jobs throughout this process. But no matter what, I'm continuing to push this project forward with absolute passion.
Now I want to share both what I've been working on during this process and lay out our roadmap ahead.
Current Status:
I'm preparing a major update where all missing animations are finally complete. Right now, the rendering process for these animations is ongoing.
At the same time, I'm just about finished with the scenes for the new update. As for the new content update, I'm putting in a lot of effort to make sure it's packed with content, and my goal is to be able to release it alongside the Steam launch. You can understand why progress has been so slow from everything I've listed below that I've done and still need to do - but I'm really happy because I've fundamentally changed everything that was holding me back and slowing me down, so things should flow much more quickly from here on out. That's why I'm feeling so good about where we are.
Beyond that, we're working with professional teams for the game's language translations. We want to deliver a quality, smooth experience in every language, which is why we're giving extra attention to this phase.
We've also taken another huge step: We're completely rewriting the game! This isn't just about fixing typos. It means making the story much more fluid, deep, and consistent. And the best part? This rewriting process will continue with SEASON 2! Which has been something I've wanted to do for years.
UI and Menu Design:
Another issue that's been giving me serious trouble from the very beginning has been the UI and menu design. These elements were half gameplay related but absolutely critical, directly affecting the Steam release.
But now we're solving this problem at its root: I've entrusted the UI and menus to a professional designer who's rebuilding them completely from scratch. We're aiming to give you a much higher quality experience with user-friendly, modern design that matches the spirit of the game. The initial results are already looking awesome!
What's changing:
In line with Steam's rules and policies, I've completely reworked and reimagined anything potentially problematic to avoid extending the process or creating unnecessary risks. This means some systems and content have been totally renewed. But don't worry - these changes haven't harmed the overall flow at all. In fact, I'd say most changes have actually pushed the game's quality even higher.
There are some sequences, both big and small, that have been added to every chapter specifically related to Charlotte. They don't break the flow, but they've been integrated in a way that makes her character development feel much stronger. The things I've now added for Charlotte will be important for season 2.
If you want, you can go back to just her chapters and play through this new content to experience these changes. You won't feel like you've missed anything, but you'll definitely notice a richer storytelling experience.
I've added an online update system for those who prefer it or are concerned about the game size. If you want, you can access each update by downloading only the changed files through GITHUB instead of downloading the entire game again. Like I said, anyone who prefers this option can access this feature from the main menu.
Sounds Completely Renewed :
All existing music and sound effects in the game have been thoroughly revised and updated both to avoid licensing issues and to increase quality. Everything now sounds much clearer.
Adding custom sound effects to all animations was a whole separate process and I have to admit, this part took way longer than I expected! But the end result was absolutely worth the wait. The scenes are now much more vibrant and impactful.
For me, the biggest importance of the Steam release is being able to build a wide, knowledgeable team to make everything happen much, much faster. That's why I'm putting in all this effort. After all these years and all the obstacles we've overcome, I finally want to get the payoff and finish this project in the best way possible.

I have a bad feeling about this.:HideThePain:
It's for Steam version, as the beginning of the game had a lot of "high school" themes, and that leads to "underage" which Steam doesn't like.

Steam basically doesn't like High School imagery (this game had), sex in school, underage, and copyrighted content, like images, movie posters, movies playing in the background on TV sets, and so on.

If the rewrite is for steam could it impact the content of the Patreon version? Is the high school content or other content gonna be removed to appeal to Steam?
