Not a good sign.I don't know about the rest, but as for the Steam version, it seems like it's almost on its way, as the page has been set up:

Good god... why do good projects have to become effectively vaporware? So basically, the report says that they’re scrapping the Christmas content and changing the roadmap (what is it, the 40th time now?) because they’re trying to release a Steam version, they’re still working on that… sigh… AI project… and, I quote: they “kind of got hit with a lot of RL stuff this month” and “the roadmap was always just a guide.”
I’m shocked, I tell you.
What is even the point of giving people a roadmap when you’re just going to fall behind it? Every. Single. Time.
I’m sorry but this whole situation is such a joke. I hope none of you here are actually giving this guy your hard earned money. Maybe go support the artist FuShark instead.
Is there even a school location on this game? But it is obvious that the younger roommate is not over 18Oh god, there´s actually been an update on patreon regarding what can only be called "the steam incident". Reading it quickly, it seems he was like was putting everything into getting a steam release even using their assets, remapping the game with them for both windows and apple, but in the end they said no as they deemed one of the characters to be "under aged" or "high school", which they have refused to elaborate on through more correspondence, and steam pulled the rug from underneath him. There is more on patreon, and honestly I am kinda feel the guy atm.
Projects that look good/promising attract a decent amount of attention and support, which leads to complacency over time. Or you have devs who really know how to make something look good, but it's nothing more than an empty facade with a mess of code behind it that's basically unmanageable, which means endless reworks/refactors/remasters with little to no meaningful developmentGood god... why do good projects have to become effectively vaporware?
You would think an "Every character in this game is 18 years old" disclaimer and turning the "HS" into a college would simply solve the problem, but then you remember, "Was Steam even on that road map and WTF happened to the 7 uh 6 updates that didn't happen this year?"Is there even a school location on this game? Dont know much about this game development since i found it very recently. I don't think this dev is milking. Their problem is the fact that they are in over their head with some of the poor decisions they have made later in development. They obviously didn't do their homework on the Steam issue resulting in a huge waste of time. This most likely lead to their failure to drop the bulk of the roadmap updates for the year. Unless they get their act together and cut the BS this project will die.Dont know much about this game development since i found it very recently. The dev is milking it?
If that was purely the case they would at least post art snippets as spoilers regularly, there are devs that only release once or twice a year that at least post mini spoilers every couple weeks so people know whats coming. Getting Steam approval is nice and all but it doesn't take 6 months and you can do other stuff while you wait.I don't think this dev is milking. That's true. The dev's cat could have pissed on the HDD for all we know or an important team member bailed on them. The Steam thing was still a huge miscalculated mistake along with the lack of updates is going to cost them subs and trust. If that was purely the case they would at least post art snippets as spoilers regularly, there are devs that only release once or twice a year that at least post mini spoilers every couple weeks so people know whats coming. I work in software development and even on weeks where I am stuck on a bug or some other problem I still do a few other tasks just to show that I am not sitting around all day, if I went 6 months without any proof that I did anything other than work on one issue I would be fired on the spot; it wouldn't even take 6 months, a few weeks would be enough.
From bad to worse to absolute shit.Looks like the patreon page is under review now.
no , was supposed to be in next updateDid MC bang tara yet?
