Things like the menu are not translated. Is there any patch or whatsoever that will do the trick?
This post may be what you are looking for

4.0 is not fully translated, and not fully decensored, but late this past November tfpatchguy made an update which he may expand upon

Check the opening post for the link to his MEGAupload for that patch or here for an overview of 4.0's status as well as translation updates

Hey, so im downloading the tfpatch, though not sure what it provides. It's mostly the translation? Or is it also new content. Also...not sure what I pressed but the game straight up crashed on me. Certain things are still in japanese, though the main text seems to be in English, did I apply it right?

I understand his frustration and anger over his work being pirated, but that doesn’t excuse or justify his racist behavior.

Honestly, I’m not sure what he expected. The game doesn’t have an English translation. Plus, people in third-world countries almost all the time can’t afford it due to their limited purchasing power.

I find it hard to sympathize with him. To be honest, in my experience, I’ve never seen any other game developers have a meltdown over piracy like this.

So, his hatred toward the South American community is disgusting and inexcusable over a piracy.
Man, people are so offended over your relatively mild opinion.

People call you a crybaby but it's pretty clear who the real crybabies here are.

Hi
I was trying to do that for v4.0.6 mainly for dressingroom, sex windows and some buttons
I dont speak japanese and english isnt my native language so there can be some mistakes in translation
To translate i used google lens on phone (i skiped words that when translated sound wierd and i didnt know how to correct them)
It was my first time of editing images so it's not the best(i used gimp)
If someone want it there is link to download, think this should be enough until we get a full translation
To install move TF_fix.tpatch to where is .exe file run game and hit applay patch
Edit
Now settings, readme section + pillow for Sylvie.
Screenshots what is translated and how its look:

Hi, I was wondering how people make translation patches for the game. I'm sort of interested in translating the game's leftover text like the clothing store. Is there a software that people use to edit the text or is it straight towards the source files?

Both 4.0 and 3.0 come pre-patched with the links in opening post, with the patches adding content, cheats, translation and decensor depending on version.

4.0 is by far less developed on the additions, and includes decensor on around half of the scenes, and an unfinished translation. (why the menus
are untranslated)

3.0 is fully decensored with a full translation, custom clothing, cheats, added cut content, and some more stuff.

Check here for info on 3.0, and here for some info on 4.0. IF you insist on using 4.0, This post by LegionMP has a patch for the menus

Open the file "data/others/translate/assets/RJ162718.json" in a text editor. At least that's what I did.

I tried to fix it, did you download the mod before or after fix? If after and you still get this error try a new game, the changes I made to fix this may require it. And if you installed a new patch from tfpatchguy it may not be compatible
OK, I re-installed the game and mod again and it worked! However, I did notice what I did wrong and my own inability to read. The reason why the mod glitched out is because I also installed the Anal mod from MrFeverfish and he said that the mod is not compatible with yours. However, I didn't read that because I'm stupid. Sorry for the trouble once again and thank you for your mods!

You put the cheats into the "say" bar. You get access to it once Sylvie opens up to you fully.

If this game goes back to 2015, what's keeping it from getting close to completion?
Because we live in a day and age where games are newer completed ever. Gone are the good old days when someone set out to make a game, made it and than sold you a copy. Now it's all foreverdevelopment with updates for ever and ever. Always adding but newer polishing. Always growing, but newer done.

Why the menus of all things? I mean, should they not be the easiest to translate since they only contain single words and thus do not need a nuanced intelligent translation as opposed to things like dialogue?

In theory yeah, but in practice most people that tried haven't bothered, because they are not text, like most other things in-game, they are actually images, with transparency and designs. They practically have to be made from scratch (ask me how I know).

LegionMP made a patch for the menus, and I linked it in the post you quoted. He did a really good job of keeping the aesthetic of the game, but it isn't included in the opening post download of 4.0.
