I understand his frustration and anger over his work being pirated, but that doesn’t excuse or justify his racist behavior.

Honestly, I’m not sure what he expected. The game doesn’t have an English translation. Plus, people in third-world countries almost all the time can’t afford it due to their limited purchasing power.

I find it hard to sympathize with him. To be honest, in my experience, I’ve never seen any other game developers have a meltdown over piracy like this.

So, his hatred toward the South American community is disgusting and inexcusable over a piracy.
Take your woke crybaby politics elsewhere. This has nothing to do with the game.

i as a person who understand the world of media formats like games anime and manga and as some one who has worked in that industry for years i will say translations are the last thing any producer thinks about especially in japan its often not even on the table as most small scale japanese devs and producers know the likely hood of there product being seen out side of japan is almost non existent and the fact that translation is time consuming and expensive does not help nor does English not being as common in those spaces help it was not likely racist at all but more a matter of practicality and for your comments about the dev being angry about piracy of the game well i would say its justified i have worked on small teams before with a very small budget and not a lot of room to work around it and piracy is a very annoying thing to have happen and i can only imagine how much more frustrating it is if you are a one man dev think about it like this you put thousands of hours into a project your working on and ever time you put a bit of it out some one steals it and then passes it around for free and does not tell those people it is passed to where it came from thus leaving you with no revenue from all your hard work making what you did worthless

p.s this is not a attack against this site at all and im gald they post the links to the devs here

as to this post i 100% agree this is not the place to complain and be a cry baby as you put it we are here for ero games and we are here for the lewds

That's all fine and well except for the fact that all he has to do is Email one of the guys doing the fan translation and make it "official" on his sales page by posting a link and he would get a full translation for free. After all, it's not like these fan patches can't be installed over a legitimate copy of his game.

If you want to get really extreme and massively invested he might even be tempted to offer his script in a text file to the translators to make their work easier. But that's not a requirement, just a bonus.

Bottom line is that as far as business models go offering token mod support in exchange for free goods and services has been doing great for companies big and small around the world. Screaming and ranting at the people extending the offer is not.

It's like, the modding community came to his home with a bag of cash and said: "Listen, we want to give you this literal bag of money. All you have to do is promise to take it and accept any future bags of money we bring you. And there is no catch. No hidden cost. No nothing. We are literally offering to open up the entire international market for you for free. You just have to not say no." And he slams the door in their face.

there more work than you would think to integrating a translation into a game as for why he hasn't made the fan patches into official patches well there are multiple possibility's for this most of which are technical issues the others would be communication issues and the next thing would be he just doesnt want to as a lot of japanese creatives are like that they just dont want to make a foreign version of there product because it was made in japanese and it they think that making it in english would take away something from the product ive seen this happen before and its not that the person is racist but rather it was never meant to be in another language to begin with in fact there are a lot of translations out there that make great and perfect sense but there was a certain tone that was lost due to making the translation and then the creator of the translated product wont get that tone across this would stem from the fact that in japanese there are multiple word for one thing and alot of the time a character might use one of those words but when in english there is only one word for what is being said

Bottom line is that the guy made a choice. He choose to go down this path knowing full well that we would go down ours. So he has absolutely no right to complain about the fact that he is suffering the consequences of his own actions.

It should be mentioned that the illustrations have been redrawn with new ones.
Personally, I feel that the version 4.0.6 has lost some of their old look, which is a shame.:(
