v4.06 doesn't seem much different from previous versions (beside updates to UI and clothing).

I don't think you actually read what i said. I treated her well but because i cannot find out how to go outside she dies because i was not able to buy her nice things. I did not rape her in the new save, i did not treat her like shit. She simply dies because there is a mechanic that i do not know how to access and there was no prompt or button that i can find to go outside to buy things from the store for her

Alright I replayed the beginning to remind myself. Basically at the start you gotta just keep chatting and patting her head. When it's dinner you give her the same meal as you, when she asks if you're going to abuse her you tell her you don't do stuff like that, when she asks what she should be doing let her clean, eventually you go to leave and you choose to take her with you and choose to go the alternate path and you buy her the clothes. By this point you can now go out with her once a day the first time you do this you rest in the plaza then talk to her once and then you can take the main road which gets you to the cafe and you buy the pancakes. By this point it's just a matter of every day taking her to the cafe and buying her sweet stuff and then chatting and patting for the rest of the day on repeat till she gets sick then you choose to nurse her with care.

There really should be some updates to this thread for this exact reason. More than a few people are having trouble knowing what anything is about unless they are told by someone who knows. Lucky for you, I know.

There are two versions commonly played now, an older 3.0 version, and the newer 4.0 version. 3.0 has more mods, a complete translation, and complete decensor. 4.0 has a newer art style, quick start feature, and a new clothing system, but no real mod support yet, along with an incomplete translation by itself and a few scenes still censored. You can choose whichever version you'd like, but I would go with 3.0 just for the better mod support.

The version of 3.0 on the front page is actually outdated right now. If you want to play 3.0, download the version on this post labelled "Teaching Feeling 3.0.22 (with everything tfpatchguy 17/11/2024)" near the bottom. The same post also has a few links to extra mods but those aren't necessary to the base experience of this game.

4.0 has a similar story, as a few patches have come out that the opening post version does not include. This post from the same guy has more info on how to patch it. Simply put, download for the in-game buttons to be translated, and apply it by putting it in the same folder as the game's executable, then hitting "apply patch" on the title screen of the game. Then, do the same for the patch labelled "TF_fix.tpatch" in . Doing both will translate the buttons, give you the latest dialogue translation and latest decensor (which are both around 95% done).

Please don't beat yourself over this, this thread is all over the place when it comes to patches and information, not to mention several versions of the same game also having different patch levels that are found only in posts far down and not the opening post.

The autists over on the 4chan thread have actually started rebuilding this game from scratch in Java. This could be the beginning of creating a more modder-friendly version of the game, and there's been some AI-generation trained on Ray's art to potentially create new scenes.
