Could someone help me out? I've been trying to launch the game, and it just freezes at 99 percent loaded after I press new game. I waited for a bit and it gave me some error like "Referenced memory at 0000000000004xb. The memory cannot be read" (not word for word just what i remember.) I am playing on a very average laptop, so maybe that's the problem?
Edit: Screenshotted the error message, hopefully someone out there can help me figure out what's wrong.
Edit 2: okay so apparently the error above was caused by corrupted system files, I fixed it up, but my game still refuses to load, it just gets stuck at 99%, freezes and crashes. tbf this entire forum is talking about how much of a bugfest this game is, so maybe im not missing out on much. still, ill keep on trying, and if I find a solution, I'll put it here

i cant even load the game past the unity splahs at all just stops right and says not responding
It crashes on launch. I've tried the fix on the first page of the tread and that doesn't help.

Right click on the game shortcut > Properties > Add in the end of the line in field "Target"
Save, launch.
