Unreal Engine - Abandoned - LifePlay [v2023.04 Stable] [Vinfamy]

For me this game has intention but lacks talent and methods to do it from the side of devs, is like a mix between all that leaves nothing at the end, you have lots of things to do but in the end you feel empty while playing it because the character and NPC has no depth nor background, you are in a world with no essence, only with random things happening without a logic.

-The animations are poor
-The customization of characters are too complex , and in the end you will not change at all the appearence , because i said at the top, the talent and methods are lacking
-The dialogues...pff...

Well i wanted to say this bcs i want they improve the game, they need to put depth to the world they made, then maybe this will be another thing, atm is like playing an empty world with nothing at all

game is excellent. once you start playing it you can play it for a whole day .
but don't download this version, download another more stable version and play.

rated because it is criminally underrated game

It's an ambitious life-sim city life game (with almost complete freedom) being made by one coder who is good at code, but very mediocre at story, writing, and graphics. By mediocre, I mean he really can't do it.

You're going to be seeing a lot of boner-killing "I lengthened my strokes into her pussy..." (huh?? you what, mate?) type of texts appearing over top of the action at random intervals, and that's basically your story. You can turn those badly written texts off but then you'll have nothing whatsoever, just generic animations. Everything feels super placeholder (which it is, the game is always changing and trying to find itself).

Hoping the game will evolve a lot over time, and that the hard working coder dev can afford to bring some other people on board eventually, to help him with the writing and eroticism.

This goes beyond any other game on this site.

Its amazing simulation where its up to you and the game to made up story as you go. The potential for this project is huge and i can't wait for developer to show us more of his powers. When i talk about ddeveloper i must mention that this is the most updated game around with amazing updates each time that add so much new stuff or at times overhaul whole experience. I love it!



I will patiently wait for 3.0 release and then play until the end of times ..

I believe this game probably doesn't get enough Patreon support. The extent and scope of what is being attempted here is pretty impressive and if you like kind of an open sandbox type of feel with lots of individual iterations in scenes/experiences, this is probably a great choice to explore.

The weakness for no fifth star is really just the actual looks and presentation of some characters/areas in the game (I'm just a little picky about wanting to create a female that looks perfectly like me hee hee) but this is a very minor gripe considering how much the developer has done so far. I'm just impressed at the scope of what is being attempted here, it's not like most games on this site.

I've played this game a lot the past two weeks and have a good feel for it as a whole. I'm a big fan of The Sims series.

The author has put a lot of hard work into this game. That is very evident.

The main problem with the game is that it has lots of underdeveloped and unfinished features. Many of the stats aren't actively used. Many of the game's features feel shallow as if the framework was put in place without actually developing the content.

The models are acceptable but not great. It is very difficult to make characters look attractive. Getting a character's nose to look right takes a lot of work. Most characters have weird looking noses. The models could use piercings and tattoos as added features. The hair models don't look right in many aspects; weird gaps, blending problems, and color problems/distortions. Improvements to the character presets is really needed so players have a good choice of attractive models to choose from. Too many of the models / presets looks similar with only minor changes.

Random events can become very annoying at times. Events interrupt events which interrupt other events. It is comical sometimes and sometimes downright annoying. Even if you lower the setting in Options it is still problematic. I've had the same event trigger three times in a row, back to back with no time delay between them.

Contacts are a big issue for me. The player is flooded with new contacts continuously! It is downright excessive. A new option needs to be added to adjust new contact frequency. The interpersonal stat should not affect this.

The game is in desperate need of a full-time writer. The player sees the same text over and over again. There needs to be a lot more variety in the dialog and text in the game.

Characters don't feel very unique because of the above. Lots of writing needs to be done to give characters unique personalities based on their stats as well as random factors.

Relationships need a lot of help. There are 'Open' and 'Exclusive' relationships in the game but they are all treated the same essentially. There is no loyalty in the game. All contacts will date you despite their relationship status. All contacts you date will eventually get a boyfriend/girlfriend. So unless you commit to them they will be taken from you, even if you are seriously dating. The player is then penalized in karma even with couples with open relationships when having sex.

Everyone is treated as if they are bisexual.

Existing features need a LOT of help before continually adding new ones. That is the problem with donated games. The author is driven by donations as to what is being focused and worked on. So features and new content is largely based on donations. Authors feel obligated to implement features that their donors want, sometimes to the peril of what really needs to be worked on.

The game, in its current state, is really a 3.5 game. I gave the author the benefit, due to lots of hard work, and rated it 4 stars.

An excellent modern day nsfw sandbox which just keeps getting better and better with each update. I was there during the first release when there were still robotic and lifeless characters but there was also a huge potential. Boy am I glad to say that the developer is not wasting any of it.
With each update this project just keeps getting better and better and the updates themselves are regular with beta testing and community feedback being crucial to the development. Can't forget to mention good mod support which is nice since the dev is a modder himself. If you know someone who'd be interested in modding this type of game be sure to let them know about LifePlay.
All in all if there is something you feel missing or you don't like about the game there's a huge chance it will be fixed or improved upon.
If you can, support the dev on the patreon and if not at least join the community and support the development by leaving suggestions or bug reports. Honest, dedicated developers are rare jewels in this part of the gaming industry and we should do whatever we can to support them.
As I said I was there when the game first released and I plan on being there when the last update drops.

No matter if you find models creepy or outdated, no matter if maps are more or less accurate... this game is just awesome.

Its weakness its just not having (yet) a big community of modders behind exploiting its capabilities; but I think nobody can deny it has a good and solid base to work with.

LifePlay is a 3D RPG taking place in several real world cities.

Central London is the city that comes with the game but you can download many other maps. Just check the 1st post for the download links.

You can either play as male or female actor... and what you do really just depends on what you like.

Become a porn star, have a wife, or a girlfriend - or both - or many... All is possible.

The game currently has two 3D models (one male and one female) which can be customized a lot. (Body-Morphs, Skin Morphs, Hair, Clothes etc.) Every NPC is randomized and looks unique.

There are like hundred different sex animations and positions. From solo to gang bang.

The game can be extended / changed by mods.

This game is quite sophisticated and one of my favourite ones.

A very fun and engaging life sim that seems to only be getting better with each new update, and I'm pretty hooked on it at the moment. Love the huge variety of extra maps available for download as well, and the option to move freely between them is a cool feature too. As previous reviews have stated, this game has immense potential to shape up into something amazing, and I'm very much looking forward to the future developement of it. I'm a donating patreon so I may be a bit biased but I absolutely positively love this game, the sheer amount of customisation, not just of the character, where you can play as male female or futa but also choosing the city and the content you want is amazing.

I personally play as a well endowed futanari that sleeps with other peoples partners. But you don't have to do that. You can do pretty much whatever you want in this game. Th interface takes a while to get used to and the open world free play may not be to the taste of the more linear type player but I recommend people to play it and...for a more rounded opinion stick with it and play it for at least a month.

One small criticism would be the sheer amount of contacts you can accumulate. Maybe a limit on how many contacts you can have?

Sex scenes are in 3d and whilst not perfect convey the situation quite well. I had to laugh at some of the text though, nothing like calling your partner a 'glorious bitch' to get the blood pumping eh?

Awesome game. There is so much you can do. Whether it's married life or being a complete stud/slut, even pimping/prostitution. There keeps being more and more including accurate maps of real cities with real locations in them.

So.much.potential...

+the ability to walk through the entire town is dam hot
+very detailed character creation (it could use a better controls while creating and more options for hair, piercings, tattooes and so on)
+so far good amount of ... uhm, unusual possibilites
+option to decorate a room where you live (ye, its only one room but sitll, pretty nice)
+solid amount of random events

- taking over some bussiness removes a possibility to buy stuff there / use its services
- large amount of places doesnt have any use, aside from observing, window shoping and stuff like that)

some ideas:
family tree could be usefull
personally, in games like these, i dont care much about quests, Id rather have more possibilities in a word around me (join a music band, open a brothel, build your own huse, create a company,....)

the game could use more work but there is deffinitely a great potential, keep it up

The first thing i noticed was the poorly done 3d models and how changing anything in the character customization breaks the framing for the model. The model joints don't bend properly they fold. The animations are horrible, they are basically short 5 second loops made worse by they poor model design.

The next thing i noticed was the horrid interface. The map itself was easy enough to navigate but selecting actions was a pain and its just throws up a time bar and you get an interaction occasionally.

There really isn't any immersion at all. You don't get to watch you character do anything other then go through the short short sex clips. It really fails in the life sim department. Every html life sim game is hands down better then this in the simulation department.

I wish i had something postive to say about the game but i just cant think of anything nice to say about it its bad all around .

I do enjoy this game in general. There are alot of animations and they are ”okay” but not the best. I find the character creation extremely confusing and hard(Giggity) to understand. The really experience breaker for me is the terrible UI and overview of the map. I wish the map was in 2d to increase performance and to be made of the dev instead of using a street api as i understand.

Seems like a good concept but the execution seems pretty poor. I spent several hours on the game and got to nothing but a few of the same scenes with the same dialogue. Something is to be said for having TOO much choice and too many ways for things to happen but with no explanation for how to makes any of those things happen.

This game have lot of amazing potential, it just needs time to update from the dev to make it become better and better for the next version, here are my own opinion:

PROS
- Mega features already established ever since the beginning of the first version


CONS
- Too many features that makes this game really confusing to operate, needs dev to make it more simple
- The map is freakin' huge, this is such a downside, IMO dev just need to make all the category map and place into one, without needed to make it more realistic since it will be distracting.

For examples: Make cafe only one (for now we can find lots of cafes all around the city)
- Needed to make the 3d model become more attractive (dev already did that! Yay!) Still needed improvement


Overall this game would be a legend later when we got the alpha that we wanted in the future, keep it up dev!

Long story short, game became worse. Dev instead of going into quality and expaning what already was in the game, went ape shit crazy on adding more shallow content. Problem of this game 3 years ago was simple, from content point of view it was wide as a sea, but shallow as puddle, its still shallow as a puddle but now wide as ocean. In my opinion to create ilusion of acual progresion, so that dev can milk his zealot fallowers out of their money.

For new players, AVOID at all costs, game was almost unplayable for new players 3 years ago, now its acualy unplayable. Bugs, 3d envirioments that clipp into animations, ugly random generated indoor locations and npcs with totaly random clothes, in hudge map with maybe 10 acual locations (copy and pasted 100 times to create an ilusion of a big world) 300 sex animations that look ugly and clip thru obiects, 16 boob sliders but no hight slider, tons of clothing that are gives randomly to you at start of charater creation istead of giving you a freedom to pick what you want from all existing clothes, and then going naked to job interview becouse you picked wrong clothes that don't fit that occation, so its better to go naked then anything below smart-casual. Tons of porn-logic events that look like "ow you are xyz do a and have b boom sex scene!" that kills any suspension of disbelive that this world is in any shape or form simillar to acual reality, relationships witout almost none relationship interastions or progresion, if you can fuck almost all girls the minute they see you, and relationship changes almost nothing then whats the point of relationships? You have stats, that you can change every second of the game, and most oftenly do nothing, besides maybe preverion. Very disapointed in this game:

Moddable from start with open world that anybody can edit. It is safe to say that this game has insane potential. Would give classic 4-star rating just because there are some things that need to be dealt with (for example initial confusion how the game actually works when you get in for the first time) but I respect Vinfamy. He can make this project of his great success.

First of all the game is awesome i rate it 5*. I would like to ask or give a suggestion. Is there a chance to have titfuck scenes in the next update? I ask this because as i see we can change the bust size to unreal sizes and i only miss those animations. Keep up the good work and i wish you best luck with this game.
