Well... I have nearly 400 custom characters made up, so it's possible... but there's no way I'm going back and changing anything about that many characters, that's more than 1600 files, yeesh.

I also notice, it seems to do it when my character tries to sleep. The bar goes along to the end, then the game freezes for 15-20 seconds, and when it starts responding again, it's glitched.

its caused possibly by having default textures npc and custom texture npc in the same room, or from switching from from one to the other in the contact list, or from switching and loading the different presets with those different textures in the edit character screen and when viewing different textures from the import skin list and clicking from one to the next.It only happened once with my GPU Laptop but every session after a while with the older integrated graphics one.

Well, I'm finding it only happens if I let the "sleep" bar run to the end. There's not usually any characters in the room besides the PC.

So, for me, the error also occurs occasionally when I simply go to my save game and then do something else, like go to the bathroom or something. In that case, nothing is happening in the game or on my PC that should cause it.

I actually have enough RAM with 24 GB on my PC, and 4 GB on an Nvidia 970 GTX should be sufficient for the game in my opinion. So, I can play completely different games at full graphics resolution without any problems.

I've had a question in this context ever since I started playing the game. It's been done with the Unreal Engine. Should I also have the Unreal Engine installed? I have it installed, and I'm going out on a limb here: I have the impression that this has only been happening since I installed Unreal Engine 5. I just haven't had much desire to switch back to Unreal Engine 4 yet. Because so far, I'm just guessing, and logically, it only makes partial sense. What do you think about this? Or does anyone else have Unreal Engine 4 installed? And if so, are you experiencing the same issue, or do you have no idea what we're talking about? Because then I'd probably take the time to reinstall Engine 4.
Or should I uninstall Unreal Engine instead?

Anyone know why I get this message when trying to use the mod installer to launch the game? It doesn't work when I do the regular launch either.

The RK Life Play Mods Flix main one, if that's the remake then that's the one I'm using. Not sure where the main remake file is for the base game not the mod.

But a bit I'm sceptic about funding projects which hasn't free testable version, the development is slow (they didn't release anything in this year so far), and the support membership prices is high (compared to others). The dev logs reveals how the concept is morphing through to an other game, as he wrotes a Sims 3 style game with free roaming on one big map to explore. And it seems dropped the UE4 engine, DAZ models and the citymaps and changed into UE5 and Metahuman, which means technically very little (or nothing) remains from the original Lifeplay. Also I'm not really convinced if the one of the highlighted feature is to players can spray graffities on the walls (Counterstrike knew this more than a decade ago).
Despite this facts the final product can be good or better if the developers put a sufficient effort into the project (and dare to publish a free demo version at least (they wrote the game isn't ready for this)), the question is when.
