It's hard to put it. On one hand, the MC has an evil mindset, but he does at least make do with his promises. I want to call him lawful evil because he follows his own code of ethics, but at other times he behaves dick-ish to force a positive (mostly) change. The mom deserves revenge, but he also wants her to quit drinking and become more responsible. I'm 40/60 on liking and disliking this MC. It's refreshing, well done.
Also, thanks for putting in the hard effort in reworking the scenes and adding sound. I told myself I would hold off on this game until I saw sound was added, and you delivered quicker than I imagined. Amazing work ethic.

The mod makes the textbox fully transparent and adds black outline to the text.
To install it, just extract into the "LifesPayback V0.X.X/game" folder

But note that my mod doesn't add a slider in the settings (it just overrides the default) and I have no idea how to implement a slider.

A grindy game that requires repeated actions and scenes doesn't get to require a new game out of its player.
It's one thing for a linear game with no repeated content to do that, but it's entirely too much to ask players to replay grind. Why does that grind even exist? Nobody wants repeated scenes so it must be padding to make it seem like there's more content than there is.

Bro wtf are you talking about, the v0.8.4 removed all the grind by removing the influence point system, it does not require repeated actions and scenes anymore.
At least read the changelog before making embarassing statements.
I legit don't mind losing a player who comes here to complain but does not inform himself.
