Loved the game initially. Still love it now but the increasing main girl bloat worries me. I've seen it happen in other games. Looks good on paper but in practice, all it does is slow down progress for each girl, make interactions with them start to feel soulless, and derail the overall plot. If people check the higher rated games on this site, they usually stick to the initial girls and just enrich them.

I hope this game doesn't fall in the trend of "just add more girls lmao" until dev starts to get too slow, complicated, and soulless.

Was updating 2 characters, now it goes to 3 or 4, so it doesn't slow down progress as you get to see a new update for a specific character in the same pace.

I think in general games that stick to the initial cast and have steady progression as in slowly getting closer to sex with more lewd events in-between do way better but the issue is that games now are funded by subscribers and give lot of updates in-between, making it more enticing to release updates with quicker progression and more characters. If you look at games like "the stereotype that only girls play healers isn't true" you see people constantly arguing over how the game feels empty, should've had more scenes in the initial zone before adding zone 2, stuff like that when all of those are issues that are simply just because the game is in early development and will get filled in over time.

So whilst releasing new characters with quick progression is nicer on a per-update basis, it usually makes the game less memorable in the long run because you probably already got to fuck your favorite character within 20 mins and now have 29 other characters you think are not as interesting.

Tl;dr more character with quicker progression is nicer for the production stage but generally results in a less fleshed out game once completed

Interesting take, but I beg to differ.

- The games we're talking about are either tagged as completed very quickly, or just take a whole year to have the classic handjob/titjob/blowjob/vaginal set of scenes available for one character.

- They don't deliver 80+ animations per year like I did. Maybe 25 at best. So indeed they'd better stick to their initial cast if they produce two 24fps animations every 2 months.

- Most of my characters get a penetration scene in the same update they're released in. Because I work like a machine, I don't want to deliver 8 blowjobs for a girl and make you wait for the next update, after a whole cycle has passed, so you can finally fuck this girl.

My workload can't stick to that simple formula. I'm eager to produce a lot of quality porn in a short amount of time.
The best to do with my game is not to be too emotionally involved with a LI as someone could change your top 3 characters very often.


PS : I need to reach 20 characters if we stick to the "4 characters per update" formula because it is a multiple of 4.
So we have 4x5 = 20 and we can have a clean cycle

Remember that the game start slow. Now each updates we got are like being in the middle/post game where everything should be easier to get. Restart a new story and you will see that the pace is acceptable.
Even if i agree with you that taking your time to introduce characters have greater impact (like Aunt's house for exemple)

Also, since the game uses Koikatsu characters would it be possible to customize the characters or is it impossible because it's not actually running in Koikatsu?

Stg if Koikatsu had a built-in game editor to allow for full custom experiences instead of one specific scene editor it would be perfection since it already has the best character customization.

Hello, great game i really like it. Animations are great, fights scenes are just fun to watch and i love what you do to these poor girls haha.

There is one thing tho, two animations just felt out of place. You usually do such a great job but i coudn't help but tell you.

One is with Megumi the last scene of the training task. Her body is a little weird in the first scene.

The other one is with Ingrid, that last scene on the rock. Her ass got a mind of it's own.

No hate, just my opinion, can be ignored.
