Without getting too political yes it really sucks to live in Germany right now.

To be fair to Germany, it's not that adult content is forbidden per-se, it's that Steam doesn't offer an age verification mechanism robust enough according to German law, which means the platform isn't allowed to distribute it. Steam on their part declined to implement such a system up 'til now for their own reasons and instead blocked adult content in the country.

No. For starters, I'd have to rerender every images in the previous chapters and post process them, and amount of work is... significant. Secondly, given that I already see severe caching issues before optimization on many of the scenes where I layer up to a dozen or more QHD images (to give me a bit more range for the zoom and pan), at 4K, I'd be increasing those issues a manifold. I doubt we will ever have a 4k version of LomL.
