I was pondering going along the lines of English being too difficult for me to write, but something something made me feel better about myself.

I feel "Simp" can be translated to "Mature and somewhat intelligent person leading to more realistic assessments of project size all the while maintaining a generally more civil and nuanced discussion with flights of whimsy humor"

But, Simp roll easier off the tongue, so let's go with that. I'm a people pleaser after all.

On a serious note, Naughty has been 100% consistent throughout the years in being open about progress, and his weekly status reports have been on-point the entire time. Meaning, when it was full, it was released.

But, given you think a year and and a half is close enough to claim it's been nearly two years, we need to set some ground rules. Chapter 7 drops, we take that date, add 3 to the year, and that's the cutoff date for the bet.

They like the game and are hyped for the coming release because they know it is a good product, given the state of the game it is in, at this moment. If they wouldn't care they wouldn't post in this thread.
It's good to be fed up with something and voice your opinion. But remember to always try and have a positive attitude afterwards. If you don't like something. Don't think about that something. Think about love and titties in your face instead.

Dude, The dialog, the plot, the renders, and the story are very well done. This is probably one of the best games on this type of platform. I was missing the game and did check in once in a while but I am very excited that another update is finally comming out soon! The excitement is brigging in all sorts of randoms lol.

i for one will laugh my ass off when the game update releases and after all the hype and waiting for it it's absolute garbage but i'm sure the fanboys will defend the game dev and still praise the update but you can only defend and praise for so long until the numbers of hateful comments take hold and the proof is self evident but i might be wrong and the update is grand and wonderful so i'll hold my judgement until then but let me be the one to say it first the hype this game update is getting might be a good thing now but if it's garbage on release day then i feel sorry for the game dev and all the fanboys will look stupid for defending such a game but if it's a great update i will be the first to say i was wrong and tell the game dev good job.

You said the exact reason people get irritated. The hateful comments. This thread is very pleasant to post in 90% of the time. Not "fanboys", simply people who like the game and are willing to wait for it, the same as it's always been. I'd bet most of us are not patrons. I am not. It's a free game, there is no reason to pay unless you want to.

But certain people, the ones who post hateful comments, only post in this thread to stir up controversy and troll. Even if they actually like the game too, such as the last person who came in (you can see in my quoted comments above).

They're so fucking annoying I really wish these forums had heavier handed moderation for shitting up threads. Or a two thread per game policy where 1 was specifically for airing "grievances". So those of us that follow threads because we enjoy the game in question aren't constantly having to clear notifications from dunderheads.
