Would suggest adding "canon" dialogue to these gallery scenes. Because on some level, as the writer, you have it in your mind that there is a story that you would consider to be the real one.

He probably does but it may not match the players and then the forums would fill up with complaints about the gallery not being the story they picked.
Eh, I'm not sure I like that idea. For someone that changed the names of the characters or explicitly tried to avoid some encounter because they didn't like them, having the wrong names used or that character mentioned might turn them off from the gallery entirely. No dialog is the least of two evils IMHO.

Maybe for dialogue options that iniate sexy content it has a different color text box or some indicator that lets the player know it would be a good idea to make a separate save. Maybe a few pages of the save menu dedicated to making a player-made gallery.
I'm not sure if there are right and wrong choices in LomL.
I mean, you can not have a sexual encounter with a character by not interacting with them or just plainly tell them "no thanks" when it comes up, but there's no puzzlebox characters where you sort of have to get them the yellow flowers because they told you they like yellow 40 minutes ago and if you don't they don't put out.In fact, in some places, there's some special dialog that triggers if you did really poorly before and lets you make up for that if you want to so you don't miss out. Really, you can't go wrong, and with the "i never want to go off the M+D path" setting turned on (it asks start of chapter 2 or 3 or so, it's a bit of a haze
), so you can even play reluctant straight-laced caretaker mc to the hilt and still have your cake, without a chance of going off the rails.Saves for your favorite scenes are really the best way to go about it if you want dialog in. The save menu in Renpy is pretty much infinite for all intents and purposes, you can reserve however many pages you want for a gallery.

That's it. I refuse to go to work until this game is complete and finalized. I can't think of anything else except what becomes of these two little munchkins. Work isn't THAT important

Each portrait is a scene (the portrait does not represent the characters in that scene it is just an image) the portraits that are not in line and spawn from a different portrait are scenes not planned in the original draft of the chapter but instead added during the making, the portraits with doodles are scenes that proved difficult to make.
The ones in grayscale are not done

Fantastic game, probably the most lovable and believable characters I've seen thus far in a VN.
I have to ask a slightly twisted question and forgive me if its been asked before but will there be the eventual option of pregnancy involving one or both of the 'wards'.
I can understand though that you wouldn't want to say a definite, yes or no to the idea due to spoilers or it not 'realistically' fitting into the story but just as long as its floating in your mind I'm happy.
Related to the idea, I thought of a scenario in which Macy and the MC have sex in the same pub and bathroom as he and his wife once did at the time Macy was conceived, only this time,
Macy will be the one getting impregnated. Perverted as hell but hot as fuck imho
