Could a compressed version also produce this issue? Saw in other game threads that compressed versions can lead to stuff missing as well.

I've actually baked it myself by creating a "game" folder and putting the mod on it. As far as I know, it's the only thing missing but I will do as you suggest

Probably not, as LomL is already almost entirely based on the .webp image format, so they don't really have to touch any code (imagine if a game uses .png images, they'd have to replace the references in code to from ".pgn" to ".webp", and if they miss one, it'll cause a missing image error).
It'll definitely cause a bunch of other glitches and artifacts, usually in the form of ugly grey/blueish seams where the edges of the bitmaps that are composed to create the sprites meet. I tailor my compression to the scenes so as to prevent that issue from occurring (as well as have minimal impact on the fine detail), but a compression modder will just bulk compress the whole shebang all the way down.

That explains a lot. Yeah, that walkthrough mod is poison, both content wise (as the creator was absolutely clueless about what choices to pick) as well as from an implementation point of view (they were as clueless about coding practices as they were about choices). Just stay as far away from it as you can.
If you need a WT (and really, the game is designed so you don't but that's another discussion), go with the pdf one from the OP, the guy that created it used my own documentation about in-game choices as the basis, instead of rolling some dice every menu and claiming it's "best choices".
That's documentation btw that I'm willing to share with anyone that's interested in doing something WT wise.
It's a know problem (at least, I know about it since a week or so). Steam's age verification system isn't solid enough for German law, so no adult-only games are available in the German Steam store since a while now.

Furthermore it is allowed to write in german language as long as you present the english translation. Just don't overdo it

The answer to this question is yes and no. To find out what part of it is a yes and what part of it is a no i highly advice to play the current update.I haven't played in this game for a long time.

I have a question yet..
I only want to play for daughters (because I only like them the most)
But I wonder if there will be any consequences when MC is with other women? for example this colleague from work?
I mainly mean whether MC relationship with his daughters will worsen or not.

And thats a tough one. Cowgirl is nice and all unless the women is screaming the whole house awake and riding into the sunset without caring about casualties on the way. Pretend you hear Metallica's "Master" but change the word to "Faster" and everytime they sing it she goes "faster" to get an understanding of what i mean.
Doggy is the optimal choice. Not only can u shut her up as she eats the pillow or furniture of choice.....but you can put all your anger into it without hurting anyone.....except pillows or furniture.......

For now though like I said I think most mayhem will come from how far Denise will put her foot into her mouth when runs into MC all riled up and angry and if Macy has played enough rugby and can make a great tackle safe in time.

If you mean in the game - Chapter 6 update came out in December. Based upon statements by developer here and Steam, Chapter 7 update is slated for second half 2022.
