Have you ever tried wine, it is a program that can help you play Windows games or various programs.

Well, I'm tired of complaining about waiting, just wake me up when the game is ready, I'll be with other novels that are at least more active, and I wait for this one to come out, with enough content that is worth the long wait, good luck and See you when there is an update.

It will be a lot of content. It always takes long (not anywhere near this long before) but each update has a LOT of content.

I'm using Wine. Actually this might be the problem. Wine might not be properly configured to run this game.
Anyway I found another way to do this. Installed Waydroid and used the Android version.
Works great :) Thx

One person reported installing the steam client solved it for them for some reason (prolly because steam is kinda insistant on installing graphics drivers if you don't have them if I recall correctly). Best try looking at that angle.

It's probably a Wine configuration issue. I gave up.
Instead I went for Waydroid and used the Android version of the game.
Worked like a charm.
Good game btw :)

You don't need Wine nor the Android version to run this game on Linux.
Ren'Py works on Linux natively, without any gimmicks. The Windows/Linux version is the same archive file (unless NR forgot to include Linux while compiling the last version of the game), just extract it and run the Linux launcher LightofmyLife.sh file to start the game.
Linux launcher was included with the v0.6.2, I haven't downloaded the last one, so I can't be absolutely sure that it's there, but it should be.
