She kind of is MC's wife from the beginning. She makes tea in the morning, she cooks, she cleans... She replaced the misses in all roles but physical. She loves the MC from the get go, she just needs to feel confortable about her desires and attractions.
Once that line has been crossed and that both attraction and love have been explicited from both the MC and Denise, marriage is just the next logical step for her.

If you dont want to diminish one of them to the side why make Macy's 1st sex at some random drive by location? Why not make them 1st time together? I am just expressing my thoughts dont get me wrong. But the things you said just seem inconsistent to me. (I have read the detailed explanation)

So we have a location that has significance from previous developments, one that Macy strongly identifies with, that offers privacy for a spur of the moment decision at an emotionally poignant moment for her, but you'd prefer they, what, just negotiate that moment out before they check into a motel? Yyyeah...
I'm getting the impression you've been playing the game for the pictures and not the prose. Which is fine, everyone should enjoy it in a way that's, well, enjoyable to them. It just makes it a bit silly for me to have an argument about a story you didn't actually read, just looked at, so I think I'll leave it at this if you don't mind.

Macy has been the impulsive one from the beginning and it has been explained in subtle and less subtle ways that she both loves and desires the MC, and has done so for a long time.
So. After she has buried a friend, who was a symbol of what she really desires (stability, long lasting commitment and true partnership), she finds herself in a remote place with the one person in the world who can bring her those things. And she is in a vulnerable state of mind. She has just seen the last stable relationship in her life die and she's in the process of grieving. So, she acts on her impulse, she takes control of what she can to prevent her world for unraveling any further.
She grieves through admitting her feelings and trying to recreate the stability she just lost. In that moment, she sees that sexual relationship as both a way to cope with what she's felt (endorphins be powerful y'all) and a way for her to take the next step. She goes from repressed brat to sexually liberated lover in that moment and the fact it's in a random filthy location makes it all the more "Macy".
It is one of the most powerful scenes in the game, but I understand that if you did not read all the text (genuinely not a judgment, enjoy the game you want that fits you) its importance can be missed.
(Also yes, I love character analysis and this game is fantastic for it)

I started this not too long ago, and I’ve been a diehard fan ever since. The way this game makes me feel is illegal and should honestly be studied. First off, the characters—holy shit. They’re so unique and such a breath of fresh air compared to the usual AVNs I play. I went into this not expecting much and came out fully obsessed. Every single character is just perfect. The way the renders and animations are done is so fucking cool and I remember you briefly explaining how you got the Ferris wheel animation to work and my dumbass still can't wrap my brain around that!
There are SO MANY moments that had me either rolling or screaming like a damn fool. Constantly telling Macy not to swear, Lou not getting Brooke's nudes and the miscommunication that comes with that, Macy freaking out in the shower for...reasons (and then proceeding NOT to shower with Lou or Denise in season 2 had me fucking dead), and even the ritual scene when Sierra messes up had me crying! I even replayed it because I was like, “Wait, did that actually happen?” And yup, she really did mess up. It’s the little things like this that make this game absolute gold. Seeing Sierra and Zarah return in Season 2 at Lou's new job had me squealing with joy, and that damn camera cliffhanger had me screaming in pure panic!
This game is a fucking gem. An actual, priceless gem. Everything—music, sound effects, renders, animations, characters, writing—gets an A+ in my book. Naughty Road, you’re ridiculously talented, and I need this story to go on forever because I could never get tired of these incredible ladies or this beautifully written story. Every update is, quite literally, the Light of my Life.

Played through chapter 1-7 thinking that following any path except the daughters paths would ruin the daughters relationship. So I only stuck to the daughters paths for the entire game, because that's how I interpreted the choices given. But now, starting season 2 (ch. 8) the game tells me that following the other part won't ruin anything, and that I should go back and replay it so that I won't miss anything.
So, what should I do. Will playing "all paths" from the beginning lock any other paths out?

No. This AVN is harem style. The only thing you lose is content by ignoring the women outside the family.
-but not a dumb harem, things have a resolution.

To confirm, from the first post of this thread:
The only exception is that Macy and Denise always stay together - no choosing one over the other.
I really love this game, I love the models and the story is amazing! I just had a question though. I know you can choose to go for Macy and Denise (obviously) but if you choose not to go on the Denise path, how do you and Macy end up getting together? Denise plays a pretty big part in Macy and you coming together in their shared story but I'm just really curious what happens to progress the Macy-only story if she's not involved.
I don't really feel like going back and trying out that path at this point, I like both of the girls and their shared path.
