Well, I upgraded from v0.7 to v1.0.1 to properly export my save, and was told it was safe to have slept with everyone and it wouldn't affect any of your relationships. Having realised I was wrong, and Macy wasn't going to kill me in my sleep, I replayed everything, slammed down big style with Red, bagged the coven, and went into chapter 8 with a full platter.

For Macy to be extremely paranoid about other women getting their poonies wrapped around Lou's fingers or manly bits. But luckily there is light at the end of that tunnel for chapter 9 and beyond.

Great update! Life really improved for the Haransons. Hopefully Julian trips after being fired and manages to perform a self-decapitation on one of his mid-life-mobiles in the parking lot.

The dialogue being British coded is even stronger, it feels like. But, there was a bear, so it can't be the UK (unless that was an escaped zoo or circus bear). I want to suggest Canada, as I don't think Aus or NZ have bears, but that doesn't feel 100%, so maybe it could be an alternate reality that has been translated with British English. But then they use Earth mythology and straight up name drop Ireland. I realise this is a thread that does not lead to any proper resolution, but...but...

Speaking of Ireland, are there any theories on Goldie? The coven recognise her, and both sides know the others reputation (had to look up Goldie calling them out as Hags [or Hag-sworn?]). If we put Gold(ie)+Ireland into the most basic mythology computer, we'll get out 'Leprechaun,' but that doesn't feel like a deep enough cut from someone that has a character quote old-school Pinky and the Brain jokes. So, likely something else from Irish myth, or Celtic religion. Sidhe? Formorian? Tuatha Dé Danann? Or a druid devoted to one of the God/esses?

Karma (that's another name to take note of, since we bounced from Christian biblical stories of Lot [Lou] and his family, to the Greek fates [+Hecate], Ireland, and now a multi-religious concept) seems like she's going to be more than fine with Lou, Macy, and Denise's relationship dynamics. But why would that be? Well, the big painting in her office showed her daughter, we already see that Zarah pines to duplicate Lou's success in her own home, so it seems likely that Karma may get more success on her homefront if she turns a blind (but supportive) eye to Lou and Macy's hijinks. And Brooke will be shocked, but become crazy horny so fast it won't matter.

well actually you could for example not develop a relationship with Macy. and then you won't have threesomes. only Denise will be possible. I haven't played such a scenario myself, but who knows, who knows.

The game's story lets you choose whether to get involved with Macy and Denise together. There is no option to get intimate with one but not the other.

I don't think I have it in me to hold down TAB for that long, but what is the game like if you turn down Macy and Denise and don't marry them? How does the plot change?

Also, how bad can things get? Are there bad endings? Can you get to season 2 with low love and high anxiety/anger?

One, you're overthinking this.
Two, you don't have to hold down TAB that long. There's the skip option.
Three, no spoilers - but if you raise the two young ladies while being a considerate, concerning parent and don't try to bed them, there are happy endings in Chapter 7.
Four, there are not "bad" endings that I've found - just don't have the MC be a bastard.
Five, the developer is not your enemy. Chapter 8 is possible no matter your choices.

I almost never play evil/bastard routes in any games, so I'm not going to see that content any way. Hence the request for information, or spoilers, because I was moderately curious how the dev approached writing the different paths. I already played through with Macy and Denise, but no one else, and once with everyone. I'm sure the non-Macy and Denise paths are well written, but there are more than games and books and shows out there. I don't see variations for a third+ playthrough as spoilers. Tidbits, maybe. And if I had the skip settings like that I'd blow past any little changes, which would defeat the purpose, unless it was for big events, which could be answered here. Or so was my theory.

Yeah, I like to think she and Karma visited the auction together and she has him sitting under a tarp somewhere, a little restauration project waiting for some free time and a lot of e-bay shopping for spare parts.

There is one really peculiar variation of the events there, that takes place if you used the low-love escape when having sex with Macy for the first time in chapter 6. Basically, having that moment doesn't make sense if love is low, but because I don't want to soft-lock you out of Macy's path if you're on low love, you can pledge to do better in their relationship and the scene will still take place.
Anyway, if you used that escape, and try to weasel out of the ceremony, she will have none of it and it turns into something of a shotgun wedding. I wonder how many people got that variant.

Interesting! Thanks for the reply. I imagine it's always a curious balance, of giving the vast, unpredictable 'players' as much autonomy or personalisation as you can, while also not creating headaches and massive amounts of work for yourself (especially if no one makes those choices).

It's been awhile since I played this one. Am I correct in assuming that the MC hasn't fucked Denise yet? There nothing in the gallery in Ch.1-7, and it doesn't look like you can unlock the gallery in Ch. 8.

At the end of chapter 7 he does and you will also need to go to the end of chapter 7 so your stats can be carried over to chapter 8.
